This home is the ultimate in beach convenience. Wake up to sunrises over the ocean and enjoy family fun on the deck as you watch the sun set. Both upstairs bedrooms have windows directly facing the beach, Wake up to an ocean sunrise right outside your window. A Well stocked kitchen with all the utensils allows for eating in and the central location of this home allows for quick access to all the great local restaurants. Wells is getting more and more popular each summer. The number of homes that offer this degree of beach access and ocean views is shrinking every year (as owners convert rental homes to private homes). The beach house was one of the best ones we’ve ever been to and we’ve been to many over the years. Would totally recommend this. You’re literally sitting right on the beach. The owners kept in touch with any questions that we had. I would highly suggest this to anybody looking for a beautiful getaway in Maine.

Just a quick getaway

If you want a quaint, safe, comfortable and beautiful place to stay right on the beach this is the house to rent. Thanks to a very attentive host I had a great, relaxing weekend in Maine at this beautiful property, close to quaint towns and right on the water. Would love to stay here again.

What a beautiful location, to be right on the water is unmatched in our book. This was perfect for our family with 3 kids under 3. Kitchen is fully equip with all your need, a grill and beautiful patio to have meals and a fire at the end of the night (we brought our own fire pit) We will definitely be booking again!

Seaside serenity

This property is amazing. From the cozy home with all the amenities you could need for a beach stay to the spectacular views on both north and south sides of the property. We stayed in both sides, with the south side our gathering place with a large picture window and sliding glass doors to the ocean front deck and it has a slightly larger living space. Having both sides available affords a nice privacy option if needed. This is one of those stays where you never want to leave.

Relaxing oceanfront stay in Wells ME

The cottage was a perfect place to relax and unwind. Close to everything you need. Each night we left our window open and the ocean waves lulled us to sleep. Each morning we watched the beautiful sunrise on the comfortable covered porch. The cottage itself had everything you needed for a short or extended stay. We are so appreciative of the host, Dave, for sharing his wonderful vacation home. Can't wait to stay again.

1 Week Family Vacation

The location and beach experience are top notch. It’s far enough down the beach where it is much quieter and there’s lots of room for the kids to spread out and play. Even at high tide, there’s more than enough room for everyone. The house has all that you’ll need. As mentioned by others, the walls are thin and depending on who is next door, you may hear a decent amount. Our experience was great though. There were plenty of family friendly places to walk to right down the road - restaurants, shops, arcade. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice splurge on Wells Beach

My mom and I stayed in the North suite for a weekend. Beautiful location, updated residence right on the beach with lovely outdoor seating areas. I appreciate the comfortable amenities of the place; however, I do not recommend for anyone that is feeble or unable to climb and descend steep stairs to the two bedrooms. Be prepared to bring your own sheets and towels and to ensure the place is tidy and all windows closed upon checking out. I would stay here again. Thank you!

Let me say right up front, the house was very clean.On our arrival we found no bath towels and no sheets or pillow cases on any of the beds. This was not pointed out in the online description.We were informed it was stated in the lease agreement we signed, and that turned out to be true. But, we received the lease agreement the day before we were to arrive at the house and did not notice it. Having said all that, David took excellent care of us and made sure our stay was an excellent experience.Thank you David. We would definitely stay here again.
