Hot Springs Hotel and Spa

"Hot Springs Hotel in Thermopolis, WY is conveniently located inside the Hot Springs State Park which has no entry fee. This is an older property that has been well maintained. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. They had some nice extra touches such as flavored water at the check-in area and cookies later in the day. There were four mints in the room and two bottles of water. The room clean, quiet and the beds were comfortable. We used and enjoyed the hot spring fed hot tub on the property. The swimming pool was already drained as it was late Sept. There is also a public hot spring pool in the park that was available. The parking was convenient to our 2nd floor room. The breakfast is cooked on site and was very good. There is also a restaurant on the property. As stated in the property information, there is no elevator, but we were able to park near our 2nd floor room and there was a staircase right inside the door we entered. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are in the area."

"The thermostat in our room wasn't working to cool the room. We set it to 68 degrees but stayed at 74 degrees all night. We were only there one night. The front desk staffer Paul was very nice and friendly plus he suggested all kinds of activities we could do while in town. Our room was very nice but the bed was on the firm side, but other than the thermostat issue we loved it. Breakfast was really good. We'd stay again!"
