"Stayed one night with 2 kids while in town visiting family. Location was convenient to highway, shopping/restaurants, movie theater. The staff we encountered were all very friendly. Room was comfortable and clean, but I never did find the microwave. The kids took advantage of the pool and self-serve hot chocolate and lemonade. Breakfast was a nice step up from the usual, with plenty of options (cereal, pastries, yogurt, waffles, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, sausage). Will definitely stay again for our next visit."

"If you’re looking for little house on the prairie this is for you. I should have read the instructions better, like bringing some food and the drive into the property. I drive my Kia Optima and it’s not built for those roads, just took it slow and it was fine. No kitchen but there is a gas grill outside. Nice little kayak trip up river, not hard, about a mile. If you love fish this would be your place. I had one whole day where I didn’t say a word to anyone…it was magical for this introvert to get lost."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Drooly Bear Cabin. The cabin was very comfortable and fit our needs well as we were in the area for a family reunion. The grandkids enjoyed the cabin stay and playing outside. We actually had a very large black bear visit the first night. Matt was a great host to work with through the process. Thanks again!"
