About this property
Tiny House Cottage On The Lake
Enjoy your stay in this fully equipped tiny house cabin on the lake, with the Brazos River across the street. A wonderful tiny house featured on the DIY Network’s: “Texas Flip N Move.” Go fishing in the lake from the backyard dock, or launch a boat into the river at the boat ramp up the street. Roast marshmallows around the fire pit, cook burgers on the gas grill, have a picnic at your outdoor picnic table. Later, enjoy a glass of wine at sunset on the covered porch or on the shaded rockers by the dock. Located just 9.5 miles from the beautiful Granbury town square.
Welcome to the “Catch N’ Relax Cabin” on the Lake—one of the three amazing rentals available at the “Fin-Tastic Retreat.” Your cabin is equipped with WiFi, and the smart TV allows you to stream your favorite shows. As your host, my goal is to ensure you have a wonderful and memorable stay.
You have access to all the areas of the property, including the fire pit, and floating dock. Feel free to fish along the property’s lake shoreline and dock, or in the river from the community park pier up the street. Wood for the fire pit is available next to the shed behind your cabin, fire starter blocks and lighters are also available in your cabin, and marshmallow roasting skewers are on your gas grill. Cornhole boards and bags are available for you to play, as well as a two-person pedal boat for paddling on the serene water. If you need additional space, check out my “Keepin’ It Reel Cottage” and Cast N’ Cork Casita” listings right next door.
Off street parking is very convenient on your private driveway. If you wish to bring your boat, trailer parking is available next to the park and boat ramp up the street. A gate code for access to the ramp will be provided upon request.

This place was awesome! The perfect place to hole up for a few days. My husband and I needed some away, down time and it was perfect! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook light meals, Alan was very accomodating and checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. We really enjoyed watching movies in bed.
An amazing location for relaxing! Just me and my best friend and a stack of books! We kayaked in the mornings, read in the afternoons and enjoyed the sunsets in the evenings. Was just what we needed! The tiny house met all of our needs!!! Alan was a great host!
Everything was amazing. Easy to check in. Clean. Yard clean and grass cut. Lot of little extras. Snacks, water, etc...My only complaint was neighbors across street loud until very late. Thanks for a wonderful , mu h needed weekend break!
We were pleasantly surprised with the looks of this tiny house. We had not be in one before and were super how much room there was. The bathroom was bigger than we had imagined and the host made sure that we had everything we need. There was even a basket of items to make S’mores over the fire ring that is available. We will definitely stay there again when we return to the area!
We had a wonderful weekend visit at the tiny house. Fishing from the dock was very peaceful as well as exploring on the kayak. Neighbors across the water did get a little noisy, but were respectful and quieted down after 9:30 pm. I would absolutely stay here again.
Precious tiny house. Very clean. Good communication with owners and easy access. Location was a little off the beaten path and the road driving to the house was a little sketchy. The Homes adjacent and near the rental itself were fine -overall -a very good stay.
My family and I rented this house for a week and it was the perfect place for us. The host, Andy, was great at communicating before, during and after our stay. He recommended restaurants and beaches, and contacted me after my niece left her journal when we left. The house itself is amazing. This was a special trip for my family as we don't take big vacations together often (last one was 10 years ago). Having a private pool and hot tub was great for the kids who were always wanting to be in the water and the grandparents who had troubles navigating the beaches. We cooked daily and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were spacious, and the outdoor areas were so relaxing. I can't recommend this house enough. I will definitely rent it again if/when I go back to Kauai. Lastly, the location was within a 5 minute walk to the beach and a short drive to shops and restaurants. It comes with access to an athletic club that we used daily. We had evening flights back to the mainland and spent the time between checkout and heading to the airport at athletic club's pool where we could shower before our flights.
