Our hosts made sure we had every comfort to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Everything was spotless and we appreciated the detailed instructions on how to work everything. The country cabin decor was so tasteful and it was nice to have a king size comfy bed. We definitely will be back in warmer weather!

Very charming and cozy! We didn't arrive until after dark and the hosts had the lights on for us. Welcoming snacks were a nice treat! This is by far one of the BEST places to stay when you are in the Waynesville area. The hosts are excellent and very hospitable! The place is super clean and you can tell that they put so much thought and care into it. We enjoy the little touches all throughout the place that make it super cozy. It's really like a home away from home and we can't wait to book another stay. It's in a super quiet location and the hot tub is an added plus! You can't go wrong with staying here. 10/10 highly recommend - we miss it already!

Home away from home!

I have never been as comfortable at a VRBO than we were at Bear’s Rest. We live in North Carolina on a mountain, so we loved and appreciated the cabin feel and decor. Everything was top notch. The location was perfect, close proximity to our family, restaurants, and groceries but quiet and restful. We hope to be able to visit Bear’s Rest again!
