"We enjoyed our short stay at the Royal Kona, while on Big Island. It is in a great location near everything you might want to do. The beds are very comfy and rooms are spacious. The resort also has great amenities as well. We would stay here again! "

"We loved our stay! The place is charming and Sandra is a great host who goes above and beyond. We enjoyed the location very much, although road noise on Hina Lani (nearby) has increased over the years. The property would work a little better for a family than two couples, since the indoor spaces are mostly shared. It worked fine overall, though, and we definitely recommend this lovely property. "

"This property was great!Highlights:-Super clean-Updated appliances and recently remodeled throughout -breathtaking views, feels like you’re truly in the tropics!Considerations:-there is no a/c so it can get warm/humid inside-you will hear the upstairs neighbors walking and potentially even talking, music, tv, etc. Just be prepared for this -bathroom could use a vent to mitigate the humidity level I’m still giving this property a high star rating because it was everything we needed for the price and would stay there again."

"Wow! Such a beautiful apartment! When one walks in you notice how everything is spotless and picture perfect—right out of a magazine. Everything you could possibly need is here—including beach chairs and beach towels!! I could cook anything I wanted—and set a beautiful table at that. The bathroom was spotless and had the softest towels. The bedrooms were beautiful and airy. The beds were perfect—we all slept great. Ms. Pauls made it easy to check in and quickly responded to any questions we had. Just a perfect place. Hated to leave, can’t wait to come back. "

The house had everything we needed and truly exceeded our expectations.One of our favorite parts was all of the amazing outdoor space. We spent so much time outside enjoying the pool, relaxing, and making memories together. The layout of the home was also perfect for families. We especially loved gathering around the kitchen island to eat, talk, and just enjoy being together.The host was wonderful, kind, informative, responsive, and made us feel so comfortable throughout our stay. You can tell a lot of care went into making this home such a special place.We had the best time and would 100% stay here again. "The place was perfect, the time fell on the major storm and Don made sure my daughter’s stay was safe. Don gave her a late check to accommodate her late flight. He stayed in communication with me throughout my daughter’s stay. She loved the place, close to some great hiking, coffee plantations. Not far from the beaches and airport. Highly recommended. "
