We stayed here 3 nights in August and I can say the place exceeded my expectations. It’s walking distance from Watkins Glen hike starting point and right off Franklin street, the Main Street in town. Everything was close by just walk away. The place itself was clean and with 3 bedrooms it was just perfect for 3 of us. The common room is big with a nice eat in kitchen. Bathroom was clean and function with great water pressure. Rooms are small (I mean really small) but if you are going there only to sleep, I don’t mind it so much. Parking is right behind the property and on the street it’s very convenient. Couple suggestions for the owner - Please see if you can keep basic coffee and some condiments there, makes it easy in the morning. Bathroom door needs a lock from inside, minor inconvenience I would say. Overall, great place if you are looking for three bedrooms. And yes, don’t pet the cat outside, she might look friendly but she scratched by daughter suddenly during a petting session. Comfortable Stay, highly recommended. ##### Rakesh C. I'd rent it again. There's a Walmart just outside of town, the restaurants are unremarkable, there's a small marina, very limited shopping, and you need your own transportation. The locals have a drug problem. Nicely furnished. Pretty good size interior with a dining table . Great guest services- when I asked the host if there was a rubber bath mat on premises somewhere for the bathtub / shower and we determined there wasn’t, the next morning housekeeping had dropped a new one off at our doorstep. ##### Mike C.
