What a great little place! The hosts were great and the apartment was cozy. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and we had all that we needed for a pleasant stay. The first thing my wife said as we left was - we need to stay there again!
Super cute apartment. The host was very communicative and welcoming. The apartment was very clean and had everything we could want. Would highly recommend staying here!

Aptly named as it was both cozy and a wonderful mountainside get-away -- easy access to the Camel's Hump View trail and Monroe Mtn trailhead, a babbling brook with wonderful pools, as well as being well-stocked with any necessities. Host was so kind and helpful.
We are SO happy we decided to book this rental! The property is absolutely beautiful, the rental space is artsy, clean & so very peaceful. The beds are very comfortable with quality bedding, for a really great nights sleep. The owners are friendly & great at answering any questions in a timely manner. We felt as if they were right there should any needs arise, yet we never felt like they were intrusive. We will definitely be booking with them again!
We enjoyed our stay. The drive up was beautiful, along a beautiful river and accomodations were perfect for our group. The beds were very comfortable and Tammy really thought of everything. The place was very clean and Tammy was easy to work with. The check in was simple and Tammy gave us several places to visit while we were in the area, much appreciated. Our visit was too short, and I hope to visit again. Shelly
We enjoyed our stay very much - the weather was great, the apartment was clean, stocked with coffee pods (though there was also a drip maker in the pantry), and the beds extremely comfy. Probably the BEST shower water pressure I've ever experienced! Tammy was friendly, helpful and easy to reach. She pointed us to some great local spots, including a gorgeous swimming hole just down the road. Note that the road is a dirt/gravel road going up the mountain, passable for all vehicles, but if you're precious with your fancy wheels, be advised. :) We have stayed in many VRBOs over the years, and this was one of the nicest. Simple, cozy, CLEAN and comfortable.
Tammy is a great host and the property was very clean and very well kept and stocked. The decor is delightful. My only disappointment was that this was not a standalone place but rather a lower level (walkout basement) of a larger occupied house above. Hence not much privacy. I was probably mistaken at the time of booking as it was not very clear. On getting there at around 7pm there was lot of noise coming from the top floor and you could loudly hear people walking and talking. We waited over an hour but since there was no change in the noise level, I contacted the host. After that the noise promptly came down quickly. The second night was quiet.
My husband and I had the best experience. The location was perfect for the wedding we were attending. It was so peaceful and beautiful up on the mountain. The owners were extremely kind and made sure we felt welcomed. Checkin, directions, and everything was made so simple. We felt so comfortable on our trip! This was our first visit to Vermont and when we come back, we would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much Tammy and Carmelo for sharing your property with us! We are grateful for your kind hospitality!
This was my friends and I's first time staying at a rental property. Basing off of the experience that the homeowner provides for us, it will be hard for anyone else to live up to it. The owners of the property were more than welcoming to our group, and provided many amenities for our short stay. If I am ever in the area again I know where I will look to stay!
The home is very nicely furnished and quite comfortable and in a beautifully wooded and secluded setting. The hosts are quite pleasant and very accomodating. One word of warning, it is up a long and winding dirt road on Camel's Hump mountain, which at the time of our visit was under repair due to washout due to summer storms. If yu go in the winter, I'd advise snow treads and a four-wheel drive.
Tammy & her husband were excellent hosts. The property is beautiful & the ground floor apartment is quite comfortable, the size is just right for a couple or those with small children who aren't comfortable being too far away from their parents. The hosts have gone out of their way to make this spot especially warm and inviting. Vermont is beautiful and I would suspect most people traveling there are not keen to spend much time indoors- this place provides all you need to relax and reset for the next days adventures in the outdoors!A couple points-This space is not separate from the main living quarters. That being said, there was never a time when anyone in the main house was loud or disturbed the silence during the requested "quiet hours". I also felt that our privacy was well respected by the hosts. If you are traveling there in the middle of the winter- 4x4 capabilities might be essential. While this location is described as "rural", I would say that 90% of the state could be considered rural. We have driven a front wheel drive van annually in the winter time for the last 6 or 7 years & had never had an issue with the roads until this trip. This location is up a mountain side with impressively steep & sharp angled turns toward the end. However, a 4-WD vehicle, well maintained with appropriate tires, will make light work of the issue and one can then enjoy the beautiful scenery while trekking up and down the mountain! We would gladly stay here again! Thank you
This cabin was perfect for our family of 5. Very cozy and enough space for all of us. The host was quick to respond to questions and with recommendations of the area. It was clean, warm, and great water pressure in the shower! I highly recommend.
Super sweet cabin/apartment away from the hustle of the tourists on the main street. We really enjoyed our accommodations. Our hosts, Tammy and Carmelo were extremely kind and accommodating. If you want a nice getaway in the middle of your travels, this is the place.
We had a wonderful stay at Tammy’s rental! She was an exceptional host who thought of every detail — from snacks and wine on arrival to endless coffee and tea. The bed was even more comfortable than my own at home. Tammy even messaged us about a nearby farmers market, which ended up being a highlight of our trip. The location is quite remote, about 35–40 minutes from Stowe, but if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway and don ’t mind a scenic drive, I’d highly recommend it!
Great little place, cozy and welcoming, nothing fancy. A full kitchen (minus dishwasher) and washer/dryer was a plus. Good WiFi too. Windows in bedrooms are placed high, making the rooms a bit stuffy with a walk-out basement feel. The main room/mud room however brings in plenty of light and fresh air with a ceiling fan. Hosts live upstairs, which is something to note if you’re wanting full privacy and quiet (I.e., they have a cute, friendly dog) but this was not an issue for us. We found the hosts to be very helpful and responsive.
