Oakland beach is located in the center of the state just minutes from the airport. The Loft is a great place to start your day and and an even better place to end it. Roll back to a time when a family vacation to the beach brought you all back together. Spend your days relaxing on the sand riding bikes or paddling along Bushneck Cove then Return to a comfortable home to dine in or go out to one of those many local restaurants to enjoy your evening. The space The Loft was originally a Hayloft that was built in the late 1800s, in the early nineteen hundreds it was moved to its current location in converted to a summer beach house. Where it has withstood two major hurricanes and many minor ones. The house was closed up in 2004 and remained vacant until we purchased it in 2021\. My wife and I fell in love with the character of the home and decided to turn it to a year-round residents updating everything but keeping it's classic and unique Style . We truly hope you love it as much as we do. Guest access Guest have complete access to the house yard and amenities. On the front porch of the house there's a wonderful porch swing where you can sit and relax and watch time go by . The house has two floors on the first floor you'll find the main room which contains two couches and a chair also a dining table and a daybed. there are three Alexa's in the house you may unplug them if you choose they have their own network and they do not share access outside of the property and they are strictly For Your Entertainment. There's an electronic fireplace on the wall with a TV mounted over it. be on the dining table there is a fully stocked kitchen with standard sized appliances. Beyond that is the bathroom with a stand up shower and it also contains a washer and dryer. There is a side deck which has a Weber grill a fire pit a conversation sitting area dining table with chairs there is also a shower outside on the back deck. On the second floor you will find two bedrooms and a 1/2 bath the front bedroom has wonderful views of Buschneck Cove looking up Narragansett Bay and has wonderful Sunset as its west-facing. A California king size adjustable bed with massage will help you sleep at night. off the main bedroom there is a 10 x 12 deck just sit and enjoy your coffee or start work on your tan. There are also two kayaks available for use but you will have to sign a disclaimer before using them. Also we have a few different yard games which people tend to enjoy. Other things to note there are 2 cameras on the property. One camera is a ring doorbell. the second camera is is located on the on top of the building covering the driveway and grounds. These cameras are there for security and insurance purposes. It was fantastic to be able to sit on the porch swing and upper balcony and enjoy the cooler weather and views of the water, beach, and sunsets. You can take a leisurely stroll along the beach and through this quiet neighborhood with absolutely no safety concerns. We used it as a base for day trips to Boston, Salem, and Newport during our stay, as well as just unwinding at the Loft for a few days. The property is so well maintained and the owner is very conscientious about checking in to make sure everything is perfect during your stay. It is a perfect beach house for up to 4-5 people and has everything you could possibly need, including a very nice outside shower for after a day at the beach. Having spent a week here, we will be recommending this rental to any friends considering a trip to New England and we definitely look forward to using it with our granddaughter in the future. ##### Randy S. The setting of the home is very picture esque. The amenities were perfect for our family of five, and the water access being across the street, with two kayaks and beach gear included met our needs to enjoy the day at the beach without any hesitancy. The host was extremely communicative, friendly, and quick and o respond to any question or concern. We would highly recommend staying here, and would do it again ourselves in a heartbeat! ##### Al P. Beautiful location: Quiet residential neighborhood right on a scenic cove (beautiful sunsets) yet still only 20-30 min to PVD airport and lots of area restaurants. (Iggy's is even walking distance). The house has been completely rebuilt inside and out very recently: Everything is brand new and first class / high quality throughout: cable/TV, appliances, laundry, bathrooms, electrical (plenty of outlets for all our tech toys), furniture, etc. King size bed in master bedroom that has sliding glass doors overlooking the cove. The second bedroom has bunk beds with double-size mattresses! Plus one more very comfortable daybed in the living room if needed. Three outside decks with lots of comfortable seating and a bbq grill. Thoughtful attention to little details like kitchen and laundry accessories, and chest full of family games. The host is readily available anytime and was very helpful answering questions, offering advice on local activities, and following up to make sure everything was good. This feels like a real home-away-from-home. We could only stay a week this trip, but we will be back and stay longer next time. ##### J Grant A. Had everything you would need. Just a short walk to the beach or you could put the kayaks in the water right across the street from the house. The owner was fantastic.
