The hotel is in a prime position overlooking Durban Beach. Spotlessly clean, lovely staff and a very good buffet breakfast. There's a bar which serves food. Its a short walk to bars and restaurants in the casino area. Ive one criticism in that the air conditioning wasn't controllable. Either on or off, which for us not use to the heat made sleeping difficult

We stayed for 9 night so it was important that we had all the comforts of home. Coastlands provides that and even more. The bed was comfortable. Staff was always pleasant. The breakfast range varied every day which made it enjoyable. The hotel is only a short walk to Gateway shopping mall and is located in a very safe area.

Non existent Hotel
We pitched up at a closed down hotel after a gruelling mountainbike race in 38 degrees celsius!! The Wartburg hotel has been closed since Nov 2019! We booked this last week and money was taken from my credit card. Luckily we found alternative accomodation 40km further. We would like our money ...
