Experience the charm of Walloon Lake Village in our beautiful, cozy cabin in one of the most beautiful areas in Northern Michigan complete with a secluded backyard to relax with campfire, hammock, hot tub and space for yard games within walking distance from three restaurants, park with pickle ball and play ground, river for fishing, beach, Walloon General Store and million dollar sunsets. Hiking and 4x4 trails are minutes away as well. Snowmobile trail access is across the street. Located less than 10 minutes from Boyne City and Petoskey. Pets are welcome for a fee.

Fantastic stay for a ski weekend

Spent the weekend skiing in the area and this place couldn’t be more perfect! We loved coming home to have a cocktail and sit in the hot tub, after which we made a dinner and relaxed in the warm and inviting home. We’ve already recommended this place to members of our family for a up north retreat.

Great little place for a family

We spent the week of NYE at this at this cute little cabin. It’s perfect for a family get away. The hot tub was nice to rest in after sledding and skiing. It’s nice to be only mi ties away from Walloon lake and about 15 minutes from both Boyne and Petoskey.

Snowy Walloon Lake!

Our stay was very relaxing in snowy N. Michigan. Felt very at home at the property. Comfortable and very well appointed. The hosts were very gracious and we were able to stay an extra day. Snowed every day and the snow was removed every day. Great getaway. 5 stars and highly recommend!!

Tranquil Getaway

Great cabin with all the amenities! Highly recommend this beautiful cabin and the hosts were very accessible and helpful! The outdoor space was a major draw. Love the area and its location is close to everything.

Super clean cabin, very nice hosts. Looks exactly like the pictures, the host was very helpful, and they had a great movie selection! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be booking again next time we are in the area!

Timing is Everything

We were unable to stay at the property due to weather issues not within our control. The hosts were very nice and offered an alternative date, but it didn't work for us. Hosts were very kind and we will likely try again another time.

Summer vacation

We enjoyed our northern Michigan vacation. The cabin was great for 4 people. We ate at the cabin mostly and the kitchen was good for cooking. The location was good with easy access for groceries and activities. It is a very comfortable cabin.

Weekend Getaway

We had a very nice stay and would definitely stay again. The communication with the host as great and was very welcoming. She had wonderful suggestions for local hiking. We hiked a The Hill Preserve and also in Harbor Springs at The Pond Farm. The cabin is centrally located to many nearby attractions. The local restaurants have great food. We enjoyed Noggin's pub in Petoskey. The hot tub was a nice treat after a day or two of hiking. The cabin is very cozy and we enjoyed relaxing at night watching football games. Thank you for a great stay!

Holiday get-away

My husband, son, and dog had a wonderful time at the cabin. It's location close to Boyne was ideal for my son who was skiing, and Walloon Lake just down the road is beautiful. We enjoyed time in the clean hot-tub out back. Meals were easily prepared and it was fun to hike in a beautiful preserve about 20 minutes away. David and Jenny messaged each morning and upon arrival to make sure that we had everything we needed - which we did. A friendly reminder of ways we could help with the check out was also welcomed. A good experience for all of us. Thank you, David & Jenny.

Cozy Cabin

We loved staying in this cozy log cabin! The location was great for us--close to both Petoskey and Boyne Mountain (Sky Bridge), and the village of Walloon Lake is lovely. The owners were very communicative and friendly.

Relaxing

I wanted a place close to Mackinaw island so I could visit there and found this nice clean cabin. Everything was provided even games! Great host that even provided an instruction book that included local places to visit! The hot tub was a plus. My first time staying somewhere other than a hotel and I loved it! I will be booking here again!
