Cozy in Walloon Village

  • Great vacation spot! This cozy eclectic apartment is a three-minute walk from the charming village of Walloon Lake with its shopping, beach, and restaurants. This space comes with a full kitchen and workspace. Situated on a quiet street. It is an ideal spot for two, however, there is a sleeper in the living room to accommodate two little ones. Our apartment is 12 minutes from Petoskey's gas light district, Boyne Mountain's skiing/waterpark, or Boyne City's popular farmer's market.

    The space
    Our rental is found in an attractive ranch-style apartment building. There is an on-site laundry room located in the central hallway of the apartments.
    In bedroom the offer a queen-size bed, desk, and closet with an oscillating fan. The unit includes a full kitchen with a dining room table for four. The living room has Roku T.V., WiFi, and a ceiling fan. We have a large parking area if you are bringing a boat or a trailer.

Loved the Cozy Nest!

We absolutely loved our stay! The place was clean and just as described. It's a great location that allowed us to take day trips to Petoskey, Charlevoix, Boyne City, Boyne Mountain Resort, etc. and have a comfy place to relax at the end of the day. We would absolutely recommend this place and will stay again in the future.

Great weekend

The location is great. We walked to a restaurant and grocery store. We spent a day skiing at Nubs Nob. We had a great time. The price is comparable to a hotel, but you get more room and a kitchen. We will definitely use the place again.

Great getaway

Our stay was relaxing as it is in a very quite area and we’re able to enjoy sitting on the deck. The only recommendation is new deck chairs as the blue paint comes off on your clothes. Would definitely come back.

The apartment was pretty easy to get to and in a decent enough location. The apartment itself was very cozy and the furniture was comfortable. I was thrown off by all of the religious decoration that covered the home, but to each their own.

Two night stay on road trip up North

The apartment had everything we needed! It is very nicely furnished and very clean! Location was great! Met in Boyne City for dinner with relatives and had a wonderful day at Mackinac Island the next day. We were in Apartment 9 which is in the back side of the units. It would have been helpful to know there was a back side in the instructions. It took us a bit to figure that out.

Super Clean and Comfortable

Comfortable little apartment! Leather recliner is lovely, and the sofa is very cushy yet firm. Very quiet neighborhood, and you can park right in front of the apartment door so unloading luggage is easy. Overhead fan in living room does a pretty good job of keeping cool, and there's a fan in the bedroom too. Convenient location just a few miles south of Petoskey, which is less than ten minutes drive.

August 2024 stay

Great location. Walking distance to downtown Waloon. Heather upgraded us to a unit with a/c . It was a 90 degree plus weekend and the unit we had initally didnt have air. Really I didnt even think to look for air, I just assummed all homes would have it. Next time I will be more careful. Nice of Healther to upgrade us for free.

Work Trip

I traveled alone as I was staying in town for work. I got a heck of a deal here. This was the cleanest place I'd ever stayed. I have worked out of town for 12 or 13 years. I've seen and dealt with a lot of great folks. (Poor ones as well). This was the best experience I have had to memory. The host was quick to reply to text messages. The place was absolutely spotless. Had towels, cleaning supplies, great appliances, no smoke smells or odors (smelled clean if anything), private access with key code and parking right out the front door. This place could not be beat. I would add "for the price" which- it was. But I don't want to infer that at a budget, this was a good place to stay. On ANY budget, this place was clean and immaculate and private. I had a great stay and will definitely choose this place for lodging if I'm ever back in that neck of the woods.
