This two bedroom, one bath cabin is newly built and just steps from the water. We offer Saturday to Saturday, 7-night rentals. You'll enjoy the sunset over the beautiful tidal cove. Washer/dryer, dishwasher, propane fireplace, grill and fire pit - we've included all the conveniences that make life at the cabin easy. This was the second year in a row that we stayed at the Cabin on Back Cove Road and it will not be our last. We have already made a reservation for 2026. The cabin ihas both heat and air-conditioning, a well equipped kitchen and two comfortable bedrooms. And best of all, the stunning views of Pitcher Bay are always visible.

This house is absolutely amazing! It’s very pretty, clean, and the kitchen has everything you need! The view is beautiful! We loved sitting by the outdoor fire pit and watching the sunset! Cabin was very cozy and comfortable. AC blew cold on the few days we needed it, we went late Sept/early Oct. Fireplace added ambience to room and there was plenty of room. Bedrooms and bathroom were clean and comfortable, plenty of extra blankets for those very cool Maine nights. Enjoyed the firepit and the view, ate dinner at fire pit while watching sunset and birds come in for evening feeding. Very relaxing.

Great cottage for "Tide Watching".

Property was of high quality and very comfortable. We enjoyed the location and the suggestions for dining out and touring. Was quite relaxing to sit near water and simply watch the tide.

Always a great escape! Rebecca is a spectacular host! She is really thoughtful, responsive, and a joy to interact with! The cabin is sparkling clean, well-stocked, and the beds are super comfortable. QUIET WITH BEAUTIFUL SUNSETS

This was such a comfortable , clean and relaxing spot to vacation. A nice quiet neighborhood and the cottage was so comfortable and had all that we needed. Everything is new and well done. The views of the bay and the sunsets are so special here. Would love to stay here again in the future.

The cabin was just what we were looking for. It was in a central location to all the places we wanted to visit. It was immaculate, communicating with Rebecca was easy although we didnt need to really to because the house was wonderful, we had everything we needed. It was perfect, for our first trip to Maine!

Very comfortable and well equipped house with exquisite views across Pitcher Bay and Medomak River

My husband and I stayed three weeks and enjoyed the comfort and convenience of this house. Its midcoast location made it easy to take day trips to museums, lighthouses, lobster harbors and farmers markers up and down the coast. We enjoyed the many excellent hiking trails in the area. I took many photograps of the sunsets across Pitcher Bay. We will be back next summer.

Family vacation

This our second time stay at one of Rebecca’s rentals. We have always had a wonderful experience. My daughter is 9 and enjoyed wading around the rock cove looking for treasures. Sun sets directly across the cove and made for bright at times but beautiful evenings. We enjoy having the windows open to get the breeze. This was a great spot for some quiet family time.

Great place, responsive owner, close to everything you need! We love the Friendship/Waldoboro area, with Jameson Point Lobster a favorite eat-out trip, DownEast feel without the drive. We contacted Rebecca before our stay re. kayaking from the property, and with a quick response she laid out the tidal limits, a tide table for our stay, and places to launch; all accurate and honest, by the way. Turned out to be very easy, plus a long hose that reached down the lawn to help us wash off the boats when needed. The Medonak River is beautiful, and connects to Muscongus Bay, with lovely villages and ocean vistas. Just a really special location, and a gorgeous, roomy house. Fire pit an extra touch! Spectacular and restorative

The cabin was perfect. It had everything we could possibly need. All details of the design of the cabin and everything in it were done with quality and loving care. There was plenty of room for the four adults in our group to be very comfortable. The location was perfect for mid-coast excursions in all directions. Our favorite thing about staying here was the absolutely stunning view and neighbors that included seagulls, osprey, bald eagles, kingfishers, other shore birds and even a seal. The owner was super responsive when we had questions.

It's Magical

If you want a cozy home with Osprey, Eagles, Peregrine Falcons, Surf Scoter Ducks and of course Ring-Billed Gulls to provide plenty of entertainment in a quiet, beautiful cove, this is the place for you. The home is immaculate with comfortable beds. And I have never been in a Vrbo that had literally everything that you could ever want during your vaca. Maine is already gorgeous and our stay here made it even more so. Oh, there are about 8 steps up to the house and the walk to the house has an downward incline with small stones.

Breathtaking views!

Rebecca is a great host! We had a terrific time at this beautiful waterfront property. Lots of memories kayaking on the water, as well as the gorgeous sunsets by the firepit every night. The house was very clean, cozy and comfortable! The beds were so comfy! Loved the bright space, filled with natural light. Lots of amenities and little touches throughout the house to make you feel like it's a home away from home. Rebecca is a terrific host! She is very responsive. Great communication before and throughout our stay. She is very responsive whenever we had questions. We can't wait to come back!

This house was perfect for our needs. It is fairly new and nicely appointed. Everything one could possibly need (except for food, of course) was provided. For our purposes, the location was great, and we really enjoyed the firepit and nightly sunsets - spectacular! The area is very rural and quiet, and we loved hearing the sounds of sea birds and crickets. If you are a biker, be aware there are no bike paths near the house and the roads are very hilly. Since there’s not much traffic, you can still manage to get in some short rides.

A Piece of Heaven

It was exactly as I had hoped- peaceful, relaxing, and refreshing. Seamless check-in, comfortable living area and beds. Fully equipped kitchen- (may need to buy ice or ice cube trays, as the ice maker is not connected due to winterizing difficulties per Rebecca). The Cabin Guide was not only helpful, it was essential!! We used it every day to help us figure out where to go and what to do. Make sure to read the instructions on using the exhaust fan at night when it's hot. Facing west on a sunny day really can heat up the house. Small price to pay for waking up to the water every morning and seeing the sunset every evening. We had a beautiful week! Thank you!
