"A lovely hotel, that goes all-in with the railway theme. Although it is a pub-hotel, it has been recently refurbished, with all-electronic access, so nobody can get to the bedroom area unless they are staying there. Half-price food in the pub on Mondays was a pleasant surprise, and the friendly - if slightly quirky - staff were a joy to interact with. The room was comfortable, and the family room we stayed in had a separate bunk-bed area for the child, each bunk having its own light. Parking-wise, you can choose from the station car park, a one-minute walk away, or the free on-street parking on the station one-way system (Only free between 6pm and 9am) I would absolutely stay here again!"

"The staff were so friendly, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent as was the quality and comfort of the modern bedrooms. The food and service excellent too. Very good value hotel with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. "

"Staff amazing, facilities a little dated but end of season so bound to be the case. We had our five year old grand daughter so outside games brilliant, pool brilliant and option to eat in hotel a great help. Good selection for breakfast"
