The room is tiny yet doesn't feel crowded and the bathrooms were nice and close and very clean. We stayed in the cabin but since the glamping was empty he let us go check it out and it looked stellar (if we came back we'd seriously consider staying there depending on the time of year). There is a short walk down into a sinkhole to see some glow worms at night and during the day you can sit on the porch and look out over the valley and the fields. We could have spent a few days here just enjoying the peaceful surroundings and the view. The road up is winding and steep in places, but they have good signage so you won't get lost. So close to glow worm caves and have their own little glow worm grotto on the property. Only a 60 second walk from the cabins. Also close to a waterfall and black sand beach. Angus was such a gracious host who made sure we had everything we needed including toast jams and coffee. Beds had heated blankets if needed and hot water bottles. Shower was awesome, hot with good water pressure. The grounds were amazing!!! Angus, his parents Allister & Anne were sooo kind and gracious. They even toured us around their beautiful garden which was in full bloom with giant rhododendrums!!! Gorgeous garden that they should be proud of. They allowed us to hike on their property and directed us to a hike to a small lake on their property. Wish I could post pictures but this website won't upload for some reason. A fantastic addition to the overall experience! There are also other things to see on the farm. Our host was welcoming and accommodating and the cabin we stayed in was very comfortable. He showed us areas to walk around the farm and there is a pathway to an area to see glow worms a short walk from the cabin. The kitchen is well appointed and there is a bbq to use. The upstair beds were very small for an adult and probably more suitable for children.
