Barefoot Cottage - Waipu Cove Beach

A perfect getaway for couples with easy access and view of one of New Zealand's most beautiful beaches only 5 minutes walk away. Relax and swim all day or hang out on the deck and take in the view. This cosy, comfy Cottage has everything you will need for either a weekend escape or a weeks total unwind.
Explore the coastal walks or the Fairy Terns along the beach. So many destinations in either direction from The Cove you will always have something to do and find. The Cove Cafe serves delicious food either takeaway or dine-in. Waipu township and the world famous McClouds Pizza Barn and Brewery is only a short drive away. Only 1 1/2 hours from Auckland it is perfect for a weekend getaway.
PLEASE NOTE: ALL PUBLIC HOLIDAY WEEKENDS MIN OF 2 NIGHTS: Waitangi, Anzac, Queens Birthday, Labour Weekend. Easter Weekend minimum 3 nights. December 26 - January 15 minimum 5 nights unless spare nights available.

Awesome spot
Great location and accomodation. Really appreciated the comprehensive amenities, made the stay much easier to prepare for and made for a great stay. Wonderful views. As others have said, while you park at and walk past the residents house, once in the cottage it is very private. We saw the host once, which was a gidday as the walked past in the beautiful gardens below. Highly recommend.

We stayed at Barfoot Cottage for 6 nights - it was so stunning - accommodation, weather, views and location, it was so hard to leave. Margie and Gary are very discreet but very friendly hosts. The immaculate Cottage was so comfortable with every whim catered for and we thank you both for making our holiday so special. We will be back!
