"I was pleasantly impressed by the hotel. Location was amazing. They upgraded our room and left a lovely card for our 10 year anniversary. Nice and clean room. All in all a great experience. The only thing that could have been better would have been if we were told ahead of time that parking on-site is limited as I would have reserved a spot however, the off site parking was very close."

"I believe the property is an older building. The room on the 5th floor overlooking at the river on the Cdn side was clean. An easy walk to the casino. The parking is a bit steep at $50 per night."

"Despite calling ahead to confirm when booking, the hot tub was out of order. The pool was quite chilly so we were in up to our knees for all of 5 minutes. You must check out towels from the front desk. We paid extra for a room with a fridge & microwave but there was no microwave. When we arrived they were doing construction in the rooms across the hall and the room beside us, so we listened to that for half the evening. Room was relatively clean except it was quite dusty and there were dorito chips on the floor all beside the fridge. Room was pretty outdated, the fabric on the arm of the chair was worn away and stuffing showing through. They did have free coffee and water/hot water available in the lobby, but definitely someplace you book only if you’re in need of a bed to sleep in away from the pricier locations by the falls."

"It was a good stay for the price. The place is old. Breakfast is free, but it is very basic with limited options. However, the staff are friendly and very cooperative, and they do their best to make your stay as convenient as possible."
