Our contemporary, beautifully remodeled 975sf condo was designed with your luxury & relaxation in mind.
For the gourmet chef, there is a modern , fully-equipped kitchen. Prepare your masterpiece while looking over the waterfall-edge quartz bar-seat island, towards the dinning & living areas ,where the floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors invite you to the cozy laniard the ocean beyond. A variety of lighting choices will set the mood for any occasion.
For your comfort, both air conditioned bedrooms have king size beds premium mattresses, fitted with high quality bamboo linens, and are accented with raised ceilings, cove lighting, reading lights and ceiling fans with Lutron automated lights and shades, sensor bed lighting at night and many little personal touches in anticipation of your every desires.
From the master bedroom you can watch the amazing humpback whales dancing in the ocean and fall asleep to the sound the gentle waves, after a day of exploring the island .
On the lanai, enjoy a Nespresso sunrise breakfast or a Moonlite cocktail, where the breath- taking views of Maalaea Bay , Haleakala Volcano, the South Maui coast the islands of Lanai , Molokini bring Paradise to your table !

The complex features lush and tropical grounds and a beach that stretches for miles - stroll, jog or play in the surf!
Have fun frolicking in the "ocean side " pool , cook up a feast at the "ocean side" BBQs and relax and get a great tan on one of the comfy lawn lounges or on our high-end custom made swinging chair.
You will have beach access within 3-5 minutes walk to the longest sugary golden beach on Maui that's suitable for all water activities and watching whales (during whale season)
Our condo, at 100 Hauoli street, Wailuku, is located in a fantastic Maui's most convenient resort coast location, you will be staying not only on right on the beach, but just 15-20 minutes from Iao Valley State Park, abundant golf facilities, Maui's major airport, Costco, Target and other stores to "shop in" your "must haves", Kaanapali and Wailea, and you'll be within walking distance of the Maui Ocean Center, Maalaea Marina, the Harbor Shops, family fun center, and enjoyable restaurants.
Haleakala summit is about 90 minutes drive from the condo, and a little over twenty minutes to the start of "the Road to Hana".
You won't find better weather on the island, because Maalaea lies within the driest and sunniest microclimate in Maui, yet is kept comfortable by tradewind breezes.
If you are planning a special occasion, we would love to help you find ways of making your stay extra special! We can provide celebratory touches, such as banners, flowers, special table settings, and champagne chilling in the fridge, all at cost of the items plus gas and travel time. Advance planning is needed (things sometimes have to be ordered and shipped to Maui), so it is great to discuss these ideas when you are making your reservation. Please be aware that there are resort-wide quiet hours, indoors and out, between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m., and all guests, (including young children) are expected to comply.
NO smoking or animals of any kind for any reason are permitted in our condo or on its lanai . Condo furniture and other items must not be repositioned except temporarily for safety, and no condo items other those for beach use may be taken outside the condo. Large sports equipment (kiteboards, surfboard ,bicycles, etc.), must be stored outside, not in our condo or on the lanai.

One of the nicest properties we have rented through VRBO ever! The location was perfect for access to all of Maui and the airport. The condo is in a bit of an older building, surroundings and access to the beach were great. The unit itself has been completely remodeled with attention to details and high end upgrades. We spent lots of time on the Lanai and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Communication with the host was superb and we would definitely go back!

This condo is everything our family needed and more!! Very clean, it had all the essentials and the host communication is the best I ever received from all my years of renting. We got to see turtles, walked to the close by beach, used the pool which although small, it was never crowded. I highly recommend this place!

#### Last minute anniversary trip
The property exceeded all expectations, and the pictures match it all. The condo was exceptionally clean, well furnished, decorated, and had magnificent views. We would wakeup early for sunup, make a Nespresso, and sit on the balcony watching either the sea turtles and/or early morning surfers as the sun rises behind Haleakala. Great quiet location, walking distance to some restaurants, the harbor, and a fantastic beach to which we had mostly to ourselves the entire trip. Katie did such a fantastic job with this property, it truly was a fantastic stay.

#### Sea Turtles and Whale Watching From Balcony
We were there 6 nights and never turned on the TV....when we weren't out sightseeing, we were on the balcony watching whales with our binoculars and we had huge sea turtles daily by the bulkhead below. Beds were comfortable. Very clean. Karen was always there for us if we had any questions or needed anything. We really enjoyed our stay.

Our group of two couples loved everything about our stay. The condo's location is a great home base for people like us who want to explore the whole island. It felt right in the middle of everything we wanted to do. The condo has updated, upscale decor. It is so well stocked and Katie provided so many extras. We couldn't get enough of the lanai as there were whales everywhere, viewable right from the lanai! Katie was such a gracious host. Do yourself a favor and book this condo today. You won't be sorry!

#### Paradise in Maalaea
Our visit in Sep 2023\. It is a memorable trip and this condo is a big part of why we love Maui so much. Homey. Cozy. Convenient. The decor is stylish and tasteful. Many little touches Katie put into the condo makes it stand out from other rentals. The art work, plants throughout the apartment and fresh flowers that welcome every guest are exceptional touches. You want to take care of them as if you are more than just a renter. Heavenly beds. Everything in the condo is functional, beautifully placed. We enjoyed many family cooking time during our stay. All the appliances, kitchenware, 2 types of coffee machines (Keurig and Nespresso) are clean and in top functioning shape. Beach supplies in the 5/F storage provide everything you need for a relaxing beach time. Sitting in the swing in lanai with a book watching turtle with the background ocean waves makes you appreciate your time in this magical place. Katie is an exceptional host. She is very responsive and answered everything from which websites do locals use for update news about road situation to switching out the refrigerator filter within 1 hour of me asking as the light comes on. Maalaea is a hidden gem. Everything is 15-25 minutes. The Maui ocean center & Pacific Whale foundation are within walking distance. Great causes. For those who wonder if traveling to Maui after the August 8 fire is ok. YES! We were welcomed by locals with open arms with many telling us thank you for visiting. Love to Maui!

Everything about this stay was perfect. Amazing view, apartment was beautifully decorated and everything was so comfortable. We had easy parking and multiple services were within a few minutes walk. For our first visit to Maui, Katie’s condo in Ma’alea was perfect. The suite is spacious, very well furnished and equipped and has a lanai looking directly out on the bay - fantastic views. The location is great as a home base for seeing the island, and the local beach (5 min walk) is perfect for walking and relaxing.

#### Maui getaway
Beautiful condo and true to the pictures posted. Very roomy and comfortable with a beautiful view. The condo is ideally centrally located away from the heavy tourist traffic of Kihei, close to the beach and easy drive to Lahaina. Our host was very welcoming and responsive to all questions. We truly had a lovely time there and would highly recommend it!

Katie has setup the place wonderfully. It is modern with everything you’d ever need on a vacation blended with luxury. The property is a short drive away to all popular places. Katie was communicative and responsive. 10/10 would recommend.

This property is amazing. It is in a great central location. The condo is extraordinarily well appointed, beautiful, and immaculate. We were able to watch whales from the lanai out in the bay every day. The host, Katie is the most accommodating of any vacation rental I’ve booked. We can’t wait to come back!

The property is as described. It was exceptionally clean, had everything a family needs to spend a vacation in Maui. The furniture and appliances are tastefully selected making it a comfortable stay. The host, Katie, is super helpful, easy to communicate and was able to accommodate all our requests. Will definitely visit again and highly recommend the listing.

#### Simply Paradise!
We couldn't have asked for a better stay in Maui! From the location to Katie's attention to detail and incredible service this place is top notch. We enjoyed watching whales and sea turtles from our balcony and enjoyed the beautiful views with our coffee in the morning. Katie is so helpful with reservations and information. We coudn't have been happier.

#### Beautiful place with a great view
Beautiful place and very nice property owner. Helps with everything around like shopping and place suggestion. We spotted Sea whales(btw 6:30 am and 8:30am) and turtles from the house. We could also see Molokini Crater. Make sure to explore the vrbo, ours had beach chairs, binoculars, snorkel gears, sunscreens and beach toys for kids.
