"Our trip to the Big Island was a last minute switch from Kauai due to storms. It was our first time on Hawaii Island, and we hadn't done any research in advance. The Mauna Lani turned out to be a perfect basecamp from which to explore the island's volcanos, beaches, oceans, tidepools, and history. It was luxurious without being fussy. The staff were almost without exception were warm and helpful. Our room had a beachfront view that was gorgeous, and a large lanai from which to enjoy it. I'm not sure if it was because the hotel was not at full capacity, but our room was very quiet, and our every need was met instantly upon request. We had so much fun!"

"Loved that we had access to a pool, hot tub, and Mauna Lani beach club. Overall the condo was very well appointed with plenty of cooking supplies and beach gear. It was very easy to communicate with the host. There were some things that made the stay feel cheaper, like cold/fluorescent feeling lighting and polyester sheets. But if you don’t mind those things, this place was great! We would return."

"I travel to the Big Island for work several times a year, and my wife and I always love staying at the Golf Villas. The Mauna Lani resort area is hands-down the spot if you’re looking for peace and quiet, beautiful scenery, incredible beaches with great snorkeling and swimming, while still being close to pretty much everything.All of the units are independently owned, and on this last trip the owners, Dean and Marsha, were incredible. I arrived the day before Hurricane Lala hit and was working down in South Kona, where we had no power that weekend. When we checked into the condo on Monday, it was amazing to finally settle into such a beautiful, comfortable place.The unit has everything you could want or need—washer and dryer, access to the private beach club, plenty of beach towels, umbrellas, and all the little things that make traveling easier.But honestly, the best part was the aloha and communication from Dean and Marsha and their local contact on the island. They were incredibly welcoming and responsive.I’ll definitely be back. Since I travel to the Big Island regularly for work, this will absolutely be the unit I try to stay in from now on. Highly recommended!"

"Beautiful condo in immaculate condition. Powerful A/C. Nice view of the grounds. Friendly neighbors. Beach pass to Mauna Lai is a total perk, a secluded beach with good snorkeling. We were in this unit during hurricane Lala and felt very safe. A big plus for poke lovers is Pono Deli in Waikoala Village-some of the best poke ever!"

"The house was as advertised and in a safe neighborhood with convenient location close to shops, grocery store, and several beaches not too far from Kona. The house is spacious and comfortable with very well stocked kitchen. The pool, hot tub and outdoor space are great to relax in. The hot tub does take about an hour to get “ hot” but just plan ahead for it. We very much enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay here again! Thank you for sharing your Hawaii home with us!"
