"We had a great stay at Hilton Waikoloa Village. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our visit. While the property is beautiful, it could use some cosmetic updates. We noticed areas where the pool coping was missing, and some doors could benefit from better caulking, fresh paint, and general upkeep. Nui Italian was a fantastic restaurant, and the bar staff was outstanding, providing excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere. Overall, we had a wonderful experience, especially considering we were there during Hurricane Nolo. Despite the weather challenges, the staff worked hard to ensure guests were comfortable and well taken care of. We would gladly return and look forward to seeing some of the property's maintenance improvements in the future."

"Great property. They had two double beds in one room. A king in the other. New appliances. They had a rice cooker! Icemaker in the fridge. They have a garage which was helpful. They had lots of boogey boards and beach chairs and umbrellas and beach toys to take to the beach. Much more than they mention in the listing (possibly guests leaving over time!). There starter kit was way better than most VRBOs. They had laundry detergent, dryer sheets, and much more. More than we needed for the week. The two pools were very nice with a hot tub. The pool was well heated. You can walk to shopping, grocery, and restaurants, or a quick drive. There is a public beach very close, or you can explore all the amazing ones on the island. The Hilton Pool access is a nice add. We did that one day - all the beaches were closed because of a hurricane - so it was a nice option. They have grills by the pool you can use. Resortica Hawaii does a great job communicating. I wasn't paying attention and I foolishly closed the garage with the garage opener in the car and closed it with the keypad (we did not have the code). And they responded by text early before the office opened with the code. We ended up asking for a late checkout since we had a red eye, and paid a reasonable fee for that. Very helpful! If you have not been to the Big Island or Waikoloa beach before, you should know this area is the perfect place to stay and explore the island."

"A very nice place with all the things you'll need for your vacation, and more. The photos really don't do it justice. The Hawaiian decor is fun and of a high quality. The property provides more than is even included in the listing. It took me a while to work through all of it. There are beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling gear, body boards and other helpful items in a separate garage (unit numbers listed near the front garage door). You have free access to an onsite pool and exercise facility that are like 30 yards from the unit. You also have free access to the Hilton pool and lagoon, where they give you towels and validate your parking each day. Nice restaurants, shops and bars across the street at the Queen's Marketplace and down the road at the King's Shops. There is a nice beach just past the King's Shops on the left, also within walking distance. The place really does have a lot to offer but it may take a few moments to get acclimated."

"My multi-generation family loved staying here. Everything was exactly as listed, including plenty of beach supplies in the garage. We learned quickly that the AC won't work if the sliding doors are open. Paige was an excellent and communicative host. Location can't be beat and having a pool right across the way was perfect for when we didn't want to venture out to the beach. We'll definitely see if this unit is available for future trips."
