The Waikoloa Beach Villas are a gated condominium community in the heart of the Waikoloa Beach Resort on the Kohala Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii. Centrally located across from the Waikoloa Queens Marketplace, Island Gourmet Market and Kings Shops for great shopping and excellent dining. Anaehoomalu Bay Beach is a short 15 minute walk or a few minutes’ drive from the Waikoloa Beach Villas. All of our vacation rentals include a basic “start-up supply” of: laundry detergent, garbage bags, kitchen sponge, liquid soap, dishwasher liquid, paper towels, toilet paper, conditioning shampoo, small bar soap, all-purpose cleaner and salt/pepper. It is an end unit with mostly private lanais and great view of the pool. It is close to the road so there is a bit of traffic noise but not bad. The landscape is remarkable and great pool area (could have been a little larger around the pool for sitting). Waikoloa Resort is a beautiful area and 25-30 mins away from Kona (Which is good). The location was phenomenal, right across the street from groceries and a rum distillery and an easy walk to the beach, The Hilton complex, and the Mariott's restaurants. The property was clean and had everything we could possibly need. The hosts were gracious and the property management company professional. My daughter and her companion slept on the couches downstairs for that night. I contacted the property manager by email that evening and the manager made contact with me the very next morning and dispatched a staff member to come and repair it promptly. The manager and staff member response was much appreciated. Everything else was great Aside of that inconvenience. Not sure if I can get a discount for that issue. There were lots of pots and pans for cooking, spices, saran wrap, 2 complimentary starter coffee packets, serving dishes, and paper towels. There were no facial tissues or napkins. The freezer had ice packets to use in their picnic coolers. A lot of snorkel gear, umbrella, beach toys and 8 beach chairs in the garage. My only complaint was that the final price for the condo was literally double the advertised price online. This is not the owners fault, it is just all the cleaning and taxes, etc. fees. I loved the location, condo furnishings, Hilton Pool Pass, etc., but it was the hidden fees that we were not pleased with. I am not exaggerating when I say the final price was doubled.
