The zoo has a great range of animals and exhibits and the grounds are well kept and spacious. There's lots of shade to keep you somewhat cool during those hot Texan summer months if you visit during that time frame. The animal enclosures are nice, and can really give you great views of the animals themselves if you are a bit patient. This also makes for great photo views, as shown here with this photo of an approaching jaguar. Food and snack prices are also very reasonable, as are prices for souvenirs. Clean, nicely furnished, spacious, and very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked with everything we needed to prepare snacks and dinners. We loved having so many bedrooms & baths. The rental company was very responsive. Only negative is the busy traffic behind the home. Bring earplugs & white noise. The property was as described and for our large family perfectly. There was plenty of space in the living areas for visiting and games. The bedrooms are spacious and had all that we needed. The area is surrounded by one-way streets and that was challenging to navigate without knowing the area, but nothing our gps couldn’t handle. We did have a small plumbing issue which the owner was very responsive to and had a plumber out in a very short amount of time.
