Peaceful Getaway
We had such a relaxing time! The staff checked in to make sure we made it and had everything we needed for a great stay. The cabin was perfect from start to finish with a Keurig, plenty of creamer, filtered water, and bathroom necessities in case you forgot something. It was the perfect location for everything we wanted to do while in Waco.

Super clean. High end finishes. Bed was super comfortable. We didnt know what Homestead Heritage was before we booked. It was an added bonus to be able to explore their unique community. We will definitely book again.

Much Needed Getaway
The property was very neat and well managed. The cabin was extremely comfortable and met our needs. We were expecting to cook more at the cabin but we needed a little more of a cook top to do so. This did NOT hinder our ability to cook though we just changed our ideas. The toaster oven worked great and we used the grill outside. The atmosphere of the location and the cabin were perfect for what my husband and I were looking for. Thank You:) Jeanne

Sister trip
Had a couple of issues, but nothing a phone call or text couldn’t fix. We enjoyed our stay. The weather just wasn’t good which wasn’t anyone’s fault. We didn’t venture out much since it was icy. We had did however have a nice sister time together.

We loved every minute!
From booking our trip to checking out, we enjoyed our stay. My husband and I needed a getaway and this place was perfect and is also very close to the Silos, hiking and Heritage Market. We would love to come back!

The perfect stay
Loved this little gem! Adorable little home….I say home because it had everything you needed to feel comfortable and at home. It was clean, tastefully decorated and fresh. Owners were great communicators and very helpful. Definitely will return! The perfect stay.

Liked all the shops at Homestead Heritage Village. The Heritage Cafe was excellent. Went back at 2pm for dessert. Wished we could have checked in earlier than 4pm.

Not a great first impression
Terrible check-in experience with the property "Inspector"! Check in is 4pm and they mean not one second earlier than that! We arrived at 3:15 pm and the "Inspector" was walking out of the cabin. She identified herself as the "Inspector" and said that all was good and ready to go. I told her that we were a little early but since the cabin was ready, could we go ahead and check in. She asked if I had requested an early check in. I told her that I did ask this morning and was told no, but since we were there and the cabin was ready, could we go ahead. Her response was that she couldn't let us in until 4:00 pm. By now it was 3:30. I asked if we could at least put our refrigerated items into the refrigerator since it was so hot outside and was told NO! She told us to go next door and look around the Homestead Craft Village and come back at 4pm. When we returned at 4pm, we punched in the lock code given to us and it did not work! Saw the "Inspector" and flagged her down. She was very put out and told us that we'd have to contact the agent we've been working with to get a new code. She'd try to call but this was not something that she dealt with! She was absolutely no help at all and I did not appreciate her "Gestapo" attitude towards us! I texted Kenneth and he texted me a new code to unlock the door. Needless to say, it was not a great first impression of the place! I have no complaints about the cabin itself. Very cute, clean, bigger than it looks, well stocked, and comfy bed. What they don't tell you is that not only is it backed up to a very busy highway (lots of traffic noise into late evening) it's not private at all. There are 2 other Dutch cabins next to you, as well as about a dozen tiny container rentals on the property. If privacy and traffic noise are not an issue, then you'd like this place.

We loved how clean and organized the rental was! Fun location just outside of the city. So relaxing!
Fun location that was close enough to Waco restaurants and stores but still out of the city and construction. Close to a cute market. Comfy cabin with all you need to escape.

Just what we needed
My wife and I needed a getaway, but didn’t want to go out to a hotel like in the past. We saw these container homes and thought it was neat, but it wasn’t until we got there that we were blown away. It was just what we needed: a modernly decorated farm look with everything we needed. We were close enough to food stops to have our meals delivered to us so we literally didn’t leave the container home once we got there. It’s the perfect little getaway for us. We’ll be back again.

I loved this property and the quietness of not being in a hotel. Dropping off daughter at Baylor. Needs some towel hooks and a rug as you walk in. Feet were dirty just walking around on the tile.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Little Dutch Cabin #3, very clean and comfortable. All the decor was so nice. The owner's assistant was super helpful and very fast to answer any questions we had. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay!

So Cute!
If you've ever wanted to stay in a tiny house but were afraid it was going to be TOO small, this is the place for you! Look and feel of a tiny cabin but plenty of space. Great bathroom and the BEST bed I have ever slept on in a rental! Kenneth & Amanda were responsive and the house was Sooooo clean. Will stay again in future :)

Very convenient!
My husband and I went to Waco for a quick overnight trip and the location of The Little Dutch Cabin was perfect! A few miles out of town but it never took us long to get anywhere we needed. The cabin was very clean and well decorated with plenty of the necessities (toilet paper, towels etc). Communication was very easy with the property managers and they were very quick to respond. The ONLY reason I give this property a 4 star review overall is because we stayed in cabin #3 (I think) which ended up being very close to a busy road, so the road noise was a bit much.

This cabin is super cute and well appointed with amenities. We really loved the place. A word of caution, this these are located off a fairly busy road so if road noise bothers you, these may be not your choice.

We really enjoyed staying in unit 103. Exceptionally clean and spacious. Decor and attention to details in every area are top notch. Close enough to downtown but yet far enough to enjoy peace an d quite. We loved the free standing tub and the roomy bathroom. Bed slept very well, we definitely recommend staying at The Villastay.
