Hotel Lomnica is the absolutely top choice in High Tatras. Every single team member we met was, without fault, friendly, courteous, and customer-oriented. The state of the property is impeccable, and the whole hotel is spotlessly clean. Both cafe and restaurant offer exquisite fare (the price point is a bit higher but most definitely worth it). The room looked at the mountains, was spacious, and even featured a bath. Will most definitely come back!

Zwei Wochen haben wir im Hotel logiert. Der erste Eindruck bei unserer Ankunft am Checking war gemischt. Die Rezeption für so ein nobles Hotel ist eher kühl und klein. Sehr überrascht – und enttäuscht – waren wir, dass uns niemand auf Deutsch begrüssen konnte. Ohne Englisch ist man hier – wie auch im Gebiet der Hohen Tetra - ein wenig verloren. Dabei haben wir manche deutschsprechende Touristen getroffen. Das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet, sauber, leider etwas zu klein für einen längeren Aufenthalt – fast keine Gepäckablage. Dafür das Badezimmer war schön, gross, sauber und ausgestattet mit den nötigen Pflegemitteln usw. Ein Dankeschön gehört dem Küchenpersonal und der Bedienung. Alle waren nett, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Leider haben wir im Restaurant Sissi nur zweimal gegessen. Das Essen war gut zubereitet aber wir haben Angebote der regionalen Gerichten (Haluschki, Knödel...) vermisst. Dafür haben wir die guten slowakischen Weine in der Lounge genossen. Am Abendessen wäre es doch schön wenn man den Tisch in Restaurant ein wenig festlicher machen würde z. B. mit einem Tischtuch oder Stoffserviette. Nicht empfehlen würde ich das Taxi Angebot des Hotels, ist viel teurer als die öffentlichen Taxis. Wir wünschen dem ganzen Personal eine erfolgreiche Herbstsaison. Anna und Peter

Raňajky na úrovni, kuchár veľmi priateľský a zároveň profesionál. Počas raňajok sa nás 6 x spýtal rôzny personál či si dáme kávu alebo čaj, čo pôsobilo dosť rušivo. Wellness sa nám páčil, sauna a ochladzovací bazén s bazénom a vírívkou príjemne zregeneruje po náročnej túre. Apartmán Rudolf priestorovo veľmi malý na poschodí, povedal by som že až nevhodne malý na pohyb. Izba na prízemí ináč čistá a príjemná. 4 vankúše je síce luxus a prepych, ale vzhľadom k tomu že by sme mali byť všetci aspoň trošku "Green" tak dva vankúše na 1 posteli by bohate stačili. Parkovali sme vonku pri hoteli, indoor parkovisko sme nevyužili, ale bolo to dostatočné. Obyčajná káva Nescafe v prášku ako ponuka v izbe ma trochu prekvapila vzhľadom k tomu že hotel propaguje vlastnú kávu. Rovnako platená fľaška s vodou na izbe je dnes už dávno prežitok a poskytuje sa zdarma. Pri cene izby za viac ako Eur 400 mi príde complimentary keksík na izbe ako slabá náplasť a reklama s ohľadom na hore uvedené. Každopádne zaujímavá skúsenosť.

Too expensive for the level of service

Hotel is nicely renovated, located in the heart of High Tatras. They have free parking close to the hotel but space is very limited. Staff is polite and helpful. They accept dogs but they do not say that dog is acceptable only in some rooms. They are charging incredible fee for dog - 50EUR per night. Do not expect basic services for dogs like bowl of water. They have 2 restaurants but menu is the same. We spend 3 days there and surprisingly daily special was the same during whole stay.
