Away from the fjords high in the mountain landscape you will find this cozy house in the solitude of the mountain world, whose construction is dominated by a lot of wood. Nestled in the natural surroundings, a fascinating view opens up to you from here.  
  
In the immediate vicinity you have many beautiful hiking opportunities, and can enjoy spectacular views from various mountain peaks. The waterfall Stalheimsfossen is also a great sight.  
  
In the nearby river with crystal clear water you will find nice swimming spots. In winter you can go cross-country skiing from the cottage and visit the popular areas of Myrkdalen and Bavallen. A short drive will take you to Gudvangen, where you can take a boat trip on the Nærøyfjord and experience the Viking village of Njardarheimr.  
  
You can count on cozy tranquility, plenty of privacy and fabulous nature experiences. Look forward to a vacation time that you will remember for a long time and with pleasure!

#### Amazing place, but poor directions and lack of amenities

The cabin is beautiful with a beautiful view... HOWEVER... Be warned that Google maps does not take you to the location. We were lucky enough that even though it was late when we got there, a gentleman in the house near where the gps took us was able to somewhat lead us in the right direction. We attempted to call the owners multiple times but no one ever answered and never returned our calls at any point during the stay. After about an hour of searching the area (bringing us to get there at about midnight), we found that it was kind of tucked away next to another cabin that was number A01 (I think). It is in an area with about 50+ cabins and they are not all well marked with numbers. It is also worth mentioning that there are NO linens for the beds and NO towels anywhere in the cabin. We were unaware of this and coming from America did not travel with anything, so no showers were taken prior to my wedding day 🤦‍♀️. With knowing these things and being okay with it, then this cabin was really nice, I just wish we had known these things beforehand so we could have better prepared or made other accommodations.
