The Denhof holiday rental is located in the centre of Herzhausen, right on Lake Eder. It is a separate, stand-alone house. The Henkler couple’s apartment is located in the adjacent building. The entire ground floor, which has been renovated as a holiday rental, offers a total living area of 104 square metres. The holiday rental includes portions of the basement (drying room) and a passageway that can be used to store bicycles, etc.
There are ample parking spaces in the courtyard and in front of the house. The courtyard also features a seating area with a round table and chairs for 6 people, including a parasol. A wooden bench is also available for use.
The large garden, complete with a “forest sofa” and two sun loungers, is perfect for relaxing. Several trees provide shade from the sun. An additional outdoor seating area with 2 benches and a table invites you to linger.
The Denhof holiday rental is centrally located, near hiking and biking trails—just step through the garden gate from the courtyard… and you’re ready to go.
In the immediate vicinity of the large property, you can make yourself comfortable on wooden benches and a forest sofa under two large chestnut trees and watch the wildlife and birds.

The Denhof holiday rental is a lovingly furnished 102-square-meter apartment for up to 4 people, featuring a separate entrance, a garden with a lawn for sunbathing, and an outdoor seating area. The apartment is located on the ground floor of the neighbouring building and was completed as recently as 2020. It is fully furnished and meets today’s standards. The holiday rental is situated directly on Lake Eder, the ER Bike Trail, and the Kellerwald and Urwaldsteig hiking trails.

2 bedrooms with double beds (1.80 x 2.00 metres), nightstands, a wardrobe, a reading lamp, and a radio alarm clock (1 bedroom with a TV); bed linens are provided.
1 large bathroom with a walk-in shower, soap and toilet paper, a bath mat, a step stool, and a child-sized toilet seat, underfloor heating, a towel radiator, and a hair dryer; towels are provided.
1 additional guest bathroom.
1 large kitchen with dining area, dishwasher, electric stove with ceramic cooktop and oven, range hood, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, blender, spices, flour, and sugar.
