This central area is the heart of Vlastec, offering a delightful mix of historic architecture, local eateries, and convenient access to the town's main attractions. You'll find yourself surrounded by cobbled streets, with the impressive Vlastec Castle dominating the skyline just a short walk away. Many of the town's best restaurants and shops are concentrated here, making it easy to explore on foot.

Couples will find this area particularly appealing due to its romantic setting and the abundance of cosy cafes and traditional pubs. Strolling hand-in-hand through the evening streets, perhaps catching a local performance in the square, makes for a memorable experience. It's also well-suited for those who appreciate being able to walk directly from their accommodation to historical sites and dinner.

For travellers prioritising convenience and a premium experience, staying near the Old Town Square means you're never far from anything. Many of the premium accommodations are located here, offering excellent service and amenities, often within beautifully restored historic buildings.

While Vlastec is a rather small village without distinct "best areas" for staying, the surrounding South Bohemia Region offers excellent options, with Český Krumlov being the great choice.

Český Krumlov is a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its exceptionally preserved medieval architecture and its stunning castle complex. The historic town centre, encircled by the Vltava River, is largely pedestrianised and features cobblestone streets, colourful Renaissance and Baroque buildings, and numerous charming bridges. Most hotels and guesthouses are within easy walking distance of the main square, Náměstí Svornosti, and the castle entrance.

Couples will find Český Krumlov particularly appealing. The town's romantic setting, with its riverside walks, intimate restaurants, and the opportunity to explore the grand castle and its extensive gardens, makes for a memorable trip. There are plenty of boutique hotels offering unique stays, often in historic buildings with views of the river or castle.

For families, staying within or just outside the historic centre of Český Krumlov also works well. Many guesthouses offer larger rooms or apartments, and the town provides a relaxed environment for children to explore.
