Vitz-sur-Authie Holidays from £169

While the Campanile Maubeuge firmly embraces a no-frills, utilitarian approach to hospitality, it excels where it matters most: premier positioning, exceptional comfort, and standout service. For travellers seeking an efficient and highly cost-effective base, it delivers superb value for money. The property’s absolute crowning achievement is its location. It serves as an unbeatable logistical hub, offering unparalleled convenience that immediately elevates its appeal for both business and leisure itineraries. The guest rooms are undeniably simple and minimalist in design, yet they masterfully cover the essentials of a high-quality stay. Far from just basic lodging, the rooms feature remarkably comfortable bedding that ensures a restful night's sleep, paired with surprisingly powerful, high-pressure showers, a welcome luxury after a long day of travel. The true heart of this hotel is its exceptional front-of-house team. The staff are nothing short of magnificent, demonstrating a warmth and patience that is particularly reassuring for non-native French speakers. The reception team consistently goes above and beyond, handling every request with genuine grace and attentiveness. The morning culinary offering is another highlight. The continental breakfast is superb, presenting a well-curated and fresh selection of everything one would expect from a quality European buffet.

The hotel had a smell in the hallways. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was okay. I like that they have free parking, but I think this was a big plus!
