Surfbreak Virginia Beach Oceanfront, an Ascend Collection Hotel
Could not stay in assigned room, or a replacement. Dirty, soiled, cigarette smoke and marijuana smell. Communication with staff was awful. Checked out and went to another hotel. Worst experience!

The staff was very friendly upon arrival. With it being marathon weekend, they were super helpful providing details on road closures. The room was clean and spacious. Schooner Inn
Tim was clean, jets in hot tub worked, patio clean. It’s obviously older, but is clean, comfortable, the elevators always work and staff is always cordial and courteous! I’m a return visitor because it’s quiet at the end of the beach near the inlet and we love the hot tub!
