The house stands on three floors composed in this way: \-kitchen with a furnished terrace from which you can have a meal enjoying a suggestive sight and a bathroom \-two bedrooms (one of this has its own little bathroom) and a small private garden \-a third little bedroom in a open-plan attic 2 private car parks. Free wifi. POSITION: The complex stands in a elegant residential zone on the hills above Salò reachable via a winding road. Salò is 7 km far. The nearest supermarket is 4 km far, while the nearest restaurant 2 km. Car is necessary. BEDROOMS: The three bedrooms have these characteristics: \- one is in the open plan garret \- one with its own bathroom is areated by a window "at the mouth of the wolf" \- the third one opens into the garden. BATHROOMS: The main bathroom has a bath (that can be used as a shower), the second little bathroom a shower. AIR CODITIONING: It is in the open plan attic (it cools also the living-area). While the other downstairs bedrooms don't need of airconditioning, because their position in the house keep them fresh. POOL: a large swimming-pool shared only with the other guests/owner of the residence. Children will enjoy the 'splash type' pool (not very large and deep but good fun anyway), grown-ups the terrace shaded by old trees. Spacious living / dining area (note: without view due to the authentic architecture with only two narrow terrace doors/windows to the balcony and thick walls), solidly equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, rather plain main bedroom with double bed. Second bedroom for up to three children in single / bunk beds however without additional room. Note - not suitable for younger children if they need to be watched (floor level window without grid, free access to pool, low-level wall which children can climb on). Access via a typical Italian hillside road and very narrow gate - we managed to just pass it with a Ford Galaxy / VW Sharan class van, but quite a bit of driving experience required. Main bedroom wardrobe suffers from humidity issues typical for old buildings but was manageable (summer visit with windows opened). The location is a bit remote from the busy lakeside (takes you around 10-15min to get to the next supermarket, restaurant) which can be an advantage - if you hear any traffic, that is very much remote, rather you hear the birds in the morning, and after a 5mins walk you are in the nearby forest. However bathrooms were both pretty poor and there isn’t much seating for any more than 4 guests. Would have been nice to have a better welcome pack than just a bottle of water and a bottle of wine. No air conditioning but host did supply two fans when we asked, but we had to assemble them ourselves. Had some leaking in the property during a heavy rainstorm too that the owner dismissed. Sie liegt ungefähr auf halber Höhe eines Berges inmitten von anderen privaten Anwesen. Dadurch ist es ruhig, kein Touristenrummel. Der Gardasee ist jedoch etwas entfernt. Er ist von weitem zu sehen, aber ohne Auto nicht erreichbar. Alle Aktivitäten sind nur mit dem Auto möglich, da auf der sehr schmalen serpentinenähnlichen Straße kein Spaziergang oder Wanderung möglich sind. Das Haus ist für eine Familie mit drei oder auch vier Kindern ausreichend groß und prima geeignet. Die einzelnen Etagen bieten auch Rückzugsmöglichkeiten. Das zweite Bad im Souterrain ist sehr winzig, auch etwas renovierungsbedürftig, aber es gibt somit eine zweite Toilette. Ein erholsamer Urlaub ist garantiert. Wir hatten das Glück, dass in einer Woche unseres Urlaubs lediglich ein weiteres Haus bewohnt war, so dass wir allein in dem schönen Pool waren. Absolut toll! Die Ausstattung in der Küche ist ausreichend. Kaffeemaschine oder Toaster gibt es leider nicht. Aber vierflammiger Herd, Ofen, Wasserkocher und Mikrowelle sind vorhanden. Die Vermieterin Valentina war immer zur Stelle, wenn wir etwas brauchten und hat sich sogar um einen deutschsprachigen Arzt gekümmert. Es hat uns sehr gefallen, vor allem unseren Wasserratten. ##### Beatrice S. Der Pool war stets sauber und das Gelände ist für Fremde nicht zugänglich. Der wunderschöne Ort Salò ist in 10 Min. mit dem Auto zu erreichen (Parkplatzempfehlung am Markt). Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und sauber und für Familien mit Kindern ideal. Wir waren zwei Familien mit drei Kindern. Es war unter dem Dach eine Zimmer für die Kinder und im Erd-/Kellergeschoss zwei Zimmer für die Eltern. Mittendrin war die Wohnküche mit einem Bad. Unten im Erdgeschoß war das zweite Bad, eine Waschmaschine und auch ein Kinderbett für Kleinkinder. Die Kinder können sich frei bewegen, der Pool ist von jedem Haus nur 10 m entfernt und vom Balkon der Wohnung aus einsehbar. Das Gelände können die Kinder nicht verlassen. Somit kann man als Eltern die Kinder einfach mal alleine zum Pool lassen, sehr entspannend. Das Haus war sauber, mit ausreichend Handtüchern ausgestattet. Es hat einen schönen Balkon mit Seeblick. Supermärkte sind in 4 km Entfernung, Salo ca. 7 km oder 15 Minuten. Die kleinen Mängel waren zum einen die Liegen, die schon etwas gebraucht waren und daher z.B. der Schattenspender für das Gesicht nicht gehalten hat. Es fehlt auch ein Sonnenschirm, da es am Pool kaum Schatten gibt. WLAN / Internet funktionierte nur sporadisch, in der Wohnung so gut wie gar nicht, gelegentlich auf dem Balkon, am Besten am Pool. Daher auch nur 4 statt 5 Sterne. Insgesamt ist es aber empfehlenswert und sehr schön und wenn man vom WLAN absieht sind es 5 Sterne. ##### Stefan M. Die Wohnung ist sehr hellhörig und das untere Bad sehr eng, aber das macht der super Ausblick auf den See wieder weg. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und schnell zu erreichen bei Fragen. Die Lage und die Aussicht auf den Gardasee ist einfach traumhaft. Das Haus und die mediterrane Gartenanlage sind sehr gepflegt und der tolle Pool lädt zum schwimmen ein. Die Kommunikation mit unserem Vermieter verlief unkompliziert und war sehr herzlich. Das kleine Örtchen Mezzane liegt sehr ruhig in den Hügeln am Gardasee und bei einem Spaziergang genießt man immer wieder die grandiose Aussicht auf Salo und den Gardasee. Wir haben zwei Wochen im „Blue House“ verbracht und waren sehr zufrieden. Das Haus bietet eine herrliche Aussicht auf den südlichen Gardasee. Sie liegt in einer ruhigen Wohnsiedlung am Hang. Trotzdem sind Salo und diverse Supermärkte schnell mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Der große und sehr gepflegte Pool wurde gerne von uns genutzt, wir haben einige Pool-Tage zwischen die Unternehmungen eingestreut. Sonnenliegen und sogar Luftmatratze für den Pool sind vorhanden. Die Wohnung ist schön und gemütlich eingerichtet. WLAN hat ausgezeichnet funktioniert, deutsches Fernsehen ist auf dem Satellitenreceiver eingestellt. Die Betreuung durch die Vermieter ist sehr gut und großzügig. Wir haben den Urlaub sehr genossen und kommen bestimmt wieder! ##### Stefan B. Alles wie auf den Bildern. Eine sehr gefplegte Anlage, der Pool wurde mindestens jeden zweiten 2 Tage gereinigt. In der Anlage (insgesamt 12 Wohneinheiten, davon werden 2 vermietet, der Rest wird von Italienern, Österreichern, Deutschen etc. als privates Ferienhaus genutzt) waren meist nur 4-5 Einheiten belegt, so dass es sehr ruhig war - unseren Kindern fast zu ruhig....Vorteil: wir hatten den großen Pool (ca. 15x5m Schwimmerbecken) fast für uns alleine. Große Supermärkte und Lidl sind in ca. 10 Minuten mit dem PKW zu erreichen. Badestrände am Gardasee sind in ca. 15-30 Minuten (je nach Strand) mit dem PKW zu erreichen. Tagesausflüge nach Verona oder Venedig bieten sich an. Die Kommunikation mit Roberto und Valentina war sehr gut, schnell und hilfsbereit. ##### Dirk J. Die Lage etwa 5 km oberhalb des Sees bietet viel Ruhe abseits des Trubels am See. Bei der Anfahrt hat uns das Navi in die Irre geführt. Deshalb vorsichtshalber einen Kartenausdruck mitnehmen. Das Haus hat einen schönen Balkon, eine eigene Terrasse und man kann einen Pool nutzen, der fast 20 m lang ist. Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir (2 Erwachsene, 3 Kinder) haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und zehn schöne Urlaubstage verbracht. ##### Klaus N. It was very clean and good equiped. Additionally the whole resort is very neat. The landlord is very friendly. The location in the backcountry of Salò is very relaxing and Salò is only a few minutes away by car. We can recommand this housing at all events and are sure that we will come back. Ein abgetrennter Nichtschwimmerbereich ist auch ideal für kleinere Kinder zum Planschen. Da nur wenige Wohnungen zu der Anlage zählen, ist es angenehm ruhig. Für abgeschlossene und überdachte Parkmöglichkeiten direkt unterhalb der Anlage ist ausreichend gesorgt. Durch die schöne Lage in den bewaldeten Bergen über Saló kann man vom Balkon und Terasse aus einen tollen Ausblick und ganztägig die Sonne genießen. Die Einrichtung, Gartenmöbel und Geräte sind neu und funktionieren einwandfrei und waren alle wie beschrieben vorhanden. Die Wohnung selbst war bestens durch den Vermieter vorbereitet. Getränke, Obst und so manch nötige Bad- und Küchenutensilien und Infomaterial zum Urlaubsort standen zur Verfügung, selbst an Wasserspielzeug für die Kinder ist gedacht worden. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war vor und auch während des Aufenthalts sehr angenehm. Wir hatten einen rund um gelungenen und sehr empfehlenswerten Aufenthalt => Fazit : 5 Sterne Plus ##### Thomas K. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet und man hat wirklich von der Terasse aus einen Blick auf den Gardasee. Alles (vom Backofen bis Gefrierschrank) hat funktioniert und die schöne Tradition, Getränke im Kühlschrank zu finden, wurde fortgesetzt. Salo ist nur einen Katzensprung entfernt und ein Ausflug mit dem Boot nach Sirmione von dort lohnt sich. Auch als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen ist die Wohnung geeignet. Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern im Vorfeld war perfekt, wir hatten stets netten Kontakt. Alles ist genau so, wie in FeWo beschrieben. Zur Begrüßung standen frisches Obst, Wasser, Wein und Säfte bereit! Alles war sauber und sehr gepflegt (incl. der gesamten Anlage und dem Pool!); die Küche ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet. In unmittelbarer Umgebung kann man seine Spaziergänge, Mountainbiketouren o. ä. starten. In wenigen Minuten ist man in den nächsten Orten zum Einkaufen bzw. direkt am See.
