Quinta da Bornacha is located near Cacela Velha and the Ria Formosa, not far from the Guadiana River, navigable from the Algarve mountains to the sea, and the Castro Marim salt marshes with their salt pans and migratory bird watching spots. These are extensive bodies of water with beautiful landscapes that invite visitors to memorable trips in boats powered by solar energy or sail.
The beaches of Manta Rota and Altura are about 2.5 km away, and there are also four golf courses located nearby.
The houses and porches of the Quinta, equipped with solar and thermal panels, produce surplus energy that is fed into the public electricity grid, ensuring a very pleasant indoor temperature throughout the year, as well as heating domestic hot water with excellent energy efficiency.
