  • This house is a modern, cosy, and comfortable space with a touch of tradition evident in the displayed handcrafted pieces and hand-carved wooden furniture. Completely renovated, this house—which is over 100 years old—was restored in 2019 and offers everything a traveller could want: pleasant, clean spaces to relax and easy access to the most famous attractions on the island of São Miguel. The house is located in the centre of the island, so you can reach anywhere in just 25 minutes by car. If you prefer, you can use public transport, which stops just 50 metres from the house. The island’s best beaches are a 5-minute drive away, as is the ferry to Vila Franca do Campo and Ilhéu. Also, just 100 metres from the house, guests can enjoy a nearly pristine beach, Praia do Degredo. Casa da Rosarinha can accommodate up to four adults. The house features a cosy outdoor area where you can enjoy a barbecue.
