"I loved the location and the view from the property. I was looking for a nice quiet area in wine country and this place ft the bill exactly. The house was lovely and had all the enmities one could need. the host, Ana was gracious and accommodating. There were wonderful little towns close by to visit ..."
"I rarely leave reviews on Expedia, but this place is so breathtaking at such a reasonable price, that I feel I had to help fellow travelers. If you're considering it, just book it now! The views are stunning, the wine is good, the food is good (and again, reasonably priced). The road up to the hotel is a bit windy but absolutely worth it. The room is on the smaller side, but you're not going to spend a whole lot of time there and you have a porch the size of your room to enjoy the view. "

"I loved the location and the view from the property. I was looking for a nice quiet area in wine country and this place ft the bill exactly. The house was lovely and had all the enmities one could need. the host, Ana was gracious and accommodating. There were wonderful little towns close by to visit and the incredible scenic drives in the Douro are right at the doorstep. "

"What an incredible place! Words and pictures can not do justice to the uniqueness and beauty of this hotel. With only three rooms on the premise, we the guests had a certain sense of home away from home as soon as we stepped on the property; Almost every window in this hotel has breadmaking view to melt you away. I also strongly urge the guests to at least try one dinner on site. Food is delicious but the service is even better. If this is your first time in Duoro Valley, please stay here. For the only bad thing is when you have to pack and leave. "

"Quinta de la Rosa is happily situated by the river and a nostalgic train track , sun facing, and near Pinhao town. Stayed at this Quinta two months ago when the valley was green with ripened grapes hanging down the vines. This time around in the height of autumn, no more grapes and the greenery has been replaced by the fall colors and somewhat barren landscape ~nevertheless beautiful and reflective of what life is all about.
