"The hotel is beautiful and next to the river. You can rent e-bikes to ride around. Their restaurant is very nice overlooking the Douro River. Be aware that transportation to/from the hotel is limited as there are nearly no taxis in town and they only accept cash."

"We had a lovely restful visit here. We've been to Douro Valley before and just wanted to relax and chill this time, we got exactly that. Pool area is great with a well maintained toilet/changing/shower block next to it and the views are amazing. We didn't go out in the evening, just had lovely meals on the terrace, but Pinhao is only a ten minute drive. Easy to find with Google maps 👍"

"Lovely hotel. Breakfast was really nice. Pool was amazing. We were in the family room and it was very spacious with proper beds for the kids. Didn’t eat at the restaurant as it wasn’t suitable for my kids but the staff recommended other local restaurants. No bar however they serve drinks and charcuterie. Would happily stay again"
