Vieux-Saint-Jean Holidays from £857

Location of the property was great for walking because the city is not great for driving in! 10-15 walk from Old Montreal, 20 minutes from Via Rail. Rooms could have been cleaner and definitely need updating but not too bad. Breakfast was good, pretty much like any other hotel. We had a family of 5. Two queen beds in main room with TV and a pull out couch in a separate room with a TV. The room was set up a little weird, would have been nicer for the adults (mom/dad) to have the separate room and all the kids in main room for more privacy. There was no way the two adults were sleeping on a pull out couch! Lol Underground parking was safe and secure, but $36.50 per day is kind of steep, but not much of an option, so they can pretty much charge what they want. Overall, it was a good stay. If you want a nicer/newer room/hotel, you will pay quite a bit more.

The unit we stayed in was awesome. We had everythingi like home.. would definitely stay again.

Great room, super clean and good location to walk into old Montreal

The hotel had an excellent location, within walking distance of most sights in the Old City and of the Metro. One issue is that it is on a street closed to vehicles, requiring guests to carry their bags from one of the cross streets. This also makes it difficult to call a taxi, The room was clean and spacious, and the air conditioning made it very comfortable. The washer and dryer were very useful. Our main problem was that the hotel does not have a front desk. There is no staff, and guests are sent instructions to get in through a text message. WE WERE NOT INFORMED ABOUT THIS BEFORE MAKING OUR BOOKING. This made getting in extremely difficult, as our phones did not work well in Canada. We would not have selected this hotel if we had known before booking that it had no front desk. Expedia, please take note and inform your clients.
