"Perfectly situated on a quiet street in Old Quebec, Hotel 71 was a wonderful boutique hotel experience. Superior King Room was well appointed, modern and quiet. Very restful sleeps! The lobby, seating areas, coffee room and all common areas were beautifully designed and decorated, with many seating areas and amazing complimentary coffees, lattes, teas etc. The best I've saved for last, though. The staff...from the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out...were friendly, attentive, professional and went over and above to provide an amazing visit. Every single person we encountered epitomized hospitality. Thanks for a fabulous weekend, Hotel 71! I will recommend your property to anyone visiting Quebec City."

"This is a lovely boutique hotel. Location is perfect. Such a short walk to Chateau Frontenac and even to lower town (Basse Ville). My only critique is that the hotel is located on a pedestrian street which means that you can't drive up and drop off your luggage. The hotel should alert guests before arrival. Parking garage is nearby. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Excellent hotel if one doesn't get the rough bully guy at the night reception who barked at us in the lobby we had to experience at Christmas. This trip in the summer was better and everyone was very nice. Great hotel now that renovations are mostly finished."
