This was our first visit to Austria and we had wonderful time in Vienna. We chose Garner hotel because of the location near railway station. Our room was very convenient, the bed was comfortable and gave us good night sleep. We were in standard room facing courtyard and it was nice and quiet there. Breakfast area is very nicely decorated and there are also healthy options (fruit, natural yogurt, muesli, lemon water etc.)available. Coffee machine had good coffee and apricot cake was delicious. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only minus from us was that wifi only works in the lobby.

Great location, awesome staff, clean, great price. The only problem was no Air Conditioning. The room was too hot at night. There was a small fan but was not enough. I would think twice to book again because of no air conditioning.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, but unfortunately, the property itself was very poorly maintained and in serious need of renovation. The washroom had a very strong and unpleasant smell, which made the stay uncomfortable. There was also no internet/Wi-Fi available in the room, which was quite inconvenient. While I appreciated the friendly service from the staff, the overall condition of the property significantly affected our experience. The property needs substantial renovation and better maintenance to meet reasonable standards for guests.

It really worths the money and the location is excellent. It's just next to the central station where you can access to most places across Austria. The staff members were very friendly as well. Highly recommended!

This hotel has a fantastic location. The quad room was spacious and having the toilet at shower room separate is always appreciated when travelling with teens. The small sitting area downstairs was excellent and the fresh cold water available readily in the lobby was great. Downsides - there is no A/C. 90% of the time it probably isn’t needed, but it sure was needed when we were there. Keep this in mind if you’re planning a stay in the summer. Also, there was no in-room wifi as advertised. Manager says it is only available in certain rooms due to router restrictions; which again, is probably fine for some people but for others like us it is a fairly important amenity to be guaranteed.

We had a very pleasant experience at the hotel. The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. We had everything we needed during our stay. We always had hot water and experienced no issues at all. Additionally, the hotel’s location is excellent and very convenient. We would definitely recommend this place.

Everything was spot on. Staff all very friendly. Spacious room compared to what we have often stayed in. Super comfortable bed! Warm and cozy. Location excellent. 2 min walk to station and eat to access metro or tram. Sorry ride from there to oif town etc. Only issue was no Internet the two nights we were there. Would recommend for sure.

Our stay was fine. Not great, not terrible, simply ok. This is a budget hotel that offers affordable accommodation in a city of very expensive hotels. We stayed in a spacious "family" room. It was quiet at night - except for a man shouting into his phone for two hours with his window open in a nearby room. It was clean - additionally, rooms were cleaned daily. The towels were abundant and plush. However, the telltale signs of it being a budget hotel were clear: the WiFi was patchy, no A/C (room was warm), impossible to make the shower warm (either cold or scalding, no in between), breakfast was the same price for small children as for adults (despite a piece of toast and milk only being desired by the youngest), the soap was very thin and cheap, only half of the outlets in the room worked, and not all channels were clear on the television. I don't think we'll stay here again. However, if money is tight and you're looking for a place that's clean, safe, and near the main train station, this hotel could do the trick.

On the plus side, it’s across the street from Vienna Central Station and a quick walk to a metro stop. As for the other bits, there is NO A/C. There is also no fan available. You open the window and hope for a breeze. The TV is hit or miss and you could call reception - if there was a room phone. As for an iron/board, it’s not in the room and there was a lengthy discussion about my needing to leave a deposit for use of same to which they finally relented. Finally, the front of the toilet seat is positioned within inches of a wall making it a little challenging to heed the call when needed (especially the longer legged.) Room/shower was fine, there are a few stairs to get past before the elevator. Did I mention that they were close to transport?
