We loved the area. IT was quiet. The breakfast was wonderful. We asked about an Uber to the airport but were told they did not use them. They recommended their Taxi service which we booked for 4:30 am. When we came down early as asked it the taxi could come earlier they said no (did not even try) and that we would be charged a fee (the entire cost it turns out). We ended up getting an Uber in 5 min at a lower rate.

Historical aspect is unique. Hotel is very high level. Cab driver arranged by the hotel was not friendly and was rude and disrespectful.

We stayed at the Kaiserhof Hotel 8 yrs ago and our first experience made us want to stay there again. However, Tereza at the front desk needs to learn to be nicer to people. She was very rude and discriminatory. This a lone will discourage us from going back to the Kaiserhof. Unfortunately, Tereza is at the front desk and represents the hotel. Tereza needs further training in hospitality or needs to be moved to another department where she doesn’t deal with guests. Very disappointing for the standards of the Kaiserhof Hotel.

The hotel is a wonderful place to stay. It is a little dated but the upkeep is good. The breakfast was excellent. Not close to main attractions but not far from it. Beds are comfortable, hotel people are very friendly to deal with.

Temperature control is completely managed by front desk, found out they never turned on room heat when I checked in..also using sauna needs 30 min notice? Several requests to make dinner reservations in advance of stay were ignored by front desk, despite their offering in first place. Breakfast was outstanding. Rooms have lovely sheets, pillows, comforters. Short walk to most areas.

A quite lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is superb. Location is very good. Five minutes walk to Karlsplatz U-Bahn and team stops are even closer.

Wonderful stay. The rooms were very nice size. Everything was really clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Apparently the Uber drivers had a hard time finding our location, they have not updated the navigations so the roads are not exactly clear for the drivers. Outside of that everything went smoothly

What a fantastic experience. It was just enough off the main areas. It's about a 10 minute walk to St Stephens and the area around there is a wonderful blend of old and new.

The hotel is ideally located for all Vienna sights whether walking or using the excellent public transport services. Our room was clean and tidy but there was a big lump down the centre of the mattress which made the bed not as comfortable as it should be. Staff were friendly and welcoming, we used the bar a couple of times which is a very cosy area for relaxing after a long days walking but it could do with more staff as it appeared there was 1 person cooking the food and running the bar which led to a very long wait to get a drink.

Very helpful staff especially Sanjay at the bar and one older gentleman at the front desk. Clean and comfortable with old world service and charm. Birthday celebration
Our stay at this hotel waa fantastic. The staff are friendly and helpful and the location ia excellent. There are restaurants nearby and public tranaport is literally around the corner. I was there for my birthday and to tour Vienna and the see the Christmas markets. All of this was within walking distance and my friend and I spent most of the time just walking and exploring streets.

Perfect hotel in Vienna
This hotel was amazing. The service is fantastic. We loved the pillow menu which included a body pillow for side sleepers. The breakfast was so great. They were super accommodating to us! When traveling to Vienna, this is the only place I would stay!

This is a charming hotel in a great area. It’s located very close to the metro and it’s also walkable to the city center. The pictures online are very representative of what the rooms look like. The chocolate on your pillow at arrival was a wonderful touch. Wish they would put it every day though!!! The breakfast was very good with a wide variety of options. The gentleman (manager) who runs the breakfast restaurant gave great service! They also had delicious fruit- infused water down by the lobby with a tray of apples that you could help yourself to. All in all, we were very pleased with our stay and would recommend this hotel for sure. The best part however, was their bartender, Sanjay. What a kind, warm, intelligent, and gracious man. It was the highlight of our stay meeting him and being able to make a connection to a local. He gave us great recommendations and we will forever be grateful for his warmth and attentiveness. Thank you, Sanjay!!!

Fantastic stay. Beautiful room. Airy and quiet common spaces with great interior décor—refreshing mix of 19th century and modern: very classy. The breakfast buffet is amazing. So much variety. 7 kinds of jam and as many types of bread, cakes, charcuterie, teapots for your tea with individualized cute tiny milk pitchers. Jacquard white tablecloths under sparkling chandeliers with a daily newsletter with staff tips for what to visit. Charming staff. Eager to help and always a smile. Ideal location—close to everything but calm residential street. Would not stay anywhere else in Vienna!

Beautiful, spacious room with lots of extras--robes, slippers, chocolates on the pillows, etc. Breakfast was over-the-top delicious and elegant. Hotel is well-located for walking to the opera, the Nachshmarket, and central sites. Most of the staff were great. The only downside for us was that instead of providing a couple the usual bedding, the hotel provides a large bed with two individual sets of bedding that don't tuck in, so our covers would slip off and it was hard to cuddle. Good for couples who aren't speaking to each other, but for us, it was a pain.
