The apartment was newly renovated in 2023, is stylishly furnished, and is very bright, even though it is located about 2 metres below street level and is a basement apartment. <br>The apartment is within walking distance of Schönbrunn Palace Park (about 14 min.), the Meidling subway station (about 10 min.), and the Meidling Market (about 13 min.). The centre of Vienna is about 25 minutes away by subway.<br>The apartment has everything you need—a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, toilet, bedroom, and a sleeper sofa that sleeps two.<br><br>Access is directly from the street; the windows are at ground level, and you enter the unit via a staircase with several steps leading down. <br>We renovated the unit in the fall of 2023, equipping it with underfloor heating, a fully furnished kitchen, and two toilets! The hardwood floors, kitchen, bathroom, electrical system, walls, and furnishings were renovated or newly selected with great attention to detail. <br>We’ve gone to great lengths to transform this unit into a holiday rental! It also features a private bathroom.<br><br>Access to the apartment is directly from the street and, thanks to a key safe, can be done independently at any time.<br><br>Hardly any other district in Vienna is as diverse as Vienna’s 12th district: from the sophisticated Hetzendorf and the unique Schönbrunn Palace to Altmannsdorf—which still retains some of its village character—and on to the urban areas of Unter-Meidling and Ober-Meidling. The immediate area and the district offer everything you could wish for. <br>Schönbrunn Palace Park, the Meidling subway station, and the Meidling Market with all its wonderful stalls, restaurants, and delicatessens are within walking distance of the apartment. Whether it’s recreational areas, bars, restaurants serving cuisine from around the world, or supermarkets and other types of stores, the 12th district has it all. Also worth mentioning is the newly opened “Gleisgarten” food market hall.
