We enjoyed our 3 night stay here. The room reminded me of an aging beauty hanging on to her faded glory: very tall ceilings with art nouveau-style chandeliers, deep red carpeting and faux antique style furnishings. Bathroom is basic white tile, but clean and bright. As far as location, it is somewhat walkable to the main sightseeing areas with easy access to the tram, however there must be hotels closer to the museums than this one. The front desk staff were very knowledgeable and helpful with directions.

Will come again!
Theater Hotel is an amazing place in the best Vienna location possible. We walked all over the city, and we were able to walk almost anywhere we want to. The stuff is very kind and helpful, very client oriented. The room we had was great. Pretty big for 4(2 adults + 2 kids) people with a long hallway. The breakfast was always delicious with quality food and drinks, the best breakfast you can ask for. Also, they have a nice entry room with a billiard where you can chill and have couple of drinks in the late evening. We like to try different places when we come to the same city, but this time we will definitely stay again in the Theater Hotel when we will visit Vienna next time.

Great hotel in a great location
Location is great! Easy walk to anything in Innere Stadt and just a few steps to tram for farther visits. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was larger than expected, clean, and quite pretty. Nearby are small markets and restaurants. Definitely recommend and plan to stay here again if I return to Vienna.

A wonderful hotel in a quiet area of the city within walking distance to almost all of the main attractions and close to the Ubahn and tram system. The hotel is updated in a modern yet classic Viennese style. The staff was helpful. The first night there was a noise issue in the unit above ( note the hotel's fault) and they dealt with he issue immediately and provided us with a fan to drown out the noise. Apart from the first night, very quiet hotel. We had the breakfast once which was excellent. Overall a very nice hotel to stay at in Vienna close to anything you need to see or to shop for. This was a true Viennese property — complete with a beautiful old-world architectural aesthetic and two kind concierges. I will say that you can book it cheaper on the hotels' website. They give everyone a free bottle of champagne, even if you don't book through this site.

The room had a little kitchenette and was of a good size. Ivan (John) greeted us with a warm welcome and even lend me his coat when I realized I left mine in the Uber car. Really great service, highly recommended!

Hotel has a strong theater theme as reflected in its name. Intimate property. Unusual fitness room. Appears to be an older property, but the interior is up-to-date with modern bathroom fixtures, wifi, and hvac. Breakfast was excellent. Room was outstanding. Only hiccup was no hot water on first evening. Highly recommend.

The room was a bit dark and had a slight smell of tobacco - previous occupant or someone in another room had obviously been smoking and caused this smell. Also, the room was very hot and was unable to reduce the temperature easily with the air conditioning

Good location close to trams and underground. We paid for a suite but didn't have access to the kitchen facilities without paying another €30 per day. Breakfast is good - €15 in advance, €18 perday otherwise. Front desk staff very knowledgeable and helpful re getting around. They explained about weekly ticket for all transport which is well worth it if you're there even for only 4 days as we were.

Theaterhotel wien
This hotel is a gem in vienna. The staff were friendly and very helpful. A really wonderful breakfast was included.

The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable, the bath was very old and the shower head was too small.

Dear Majid, we are sorry to read that we could not satisfy your expectations. Indeed we are not a hotel at the latest fashion but we aim to maintain our property quite well. Nowadays we call in "Sustainable" - in fact the hotel is 30 years old and we are quite proud that we are there were we are. In terms of pillows we know, that this is quite a individual preference - we try our best to provide what clients are used to - please always refer to reception in order to deposit your wishes! We hope you at least enjoyed Vienna and will come back to the most beautiful city in Europe! Kind regards

Loved this hotel!!
We loved this hotel. It’s very conveniently located, close to the Museum Quartier, close to many great restaurants, cafés etc... The staff was very nice, always helpful with our questions. We liked the morning buffet breakfast very much, lots of choices. Our room was very nice, clean, not too spacious but very practically and nicely designed and cozy. We look forward to returning to this hotel in the near future!! Thank you!!

We wished we had been asked ahead of time if we wanted the apartment to be supplied with cooking utensils, plates etc & not had to ask for them after we got to the apartment. There was also a charge for this. The location was excellent for sight seeing, groceries & good restaurants

In terms of extra-charge we kindly ask your understanding, as we try to keep our rates on a decent level. 95 % percent of our clients do not use the kitchenette, so why increasing the rate for all, where the extra charge is necessary due to extra cleaning, which need to be paid by us as well.
