"When we arrived in our room it had a bad odor. While I do know this room was only $70 I did not expect there to be this many problems. The blinds did not wrap around the window so people in the parking lot could see you. The sheets were torn and we had to get new ones. The over head sprinkler was leaking and they had paper towel shoved in there to absorb the water. The shower head was leaking. And the shower curtain wasnt long enough so all the water was going out of the shower flooding the room. There was no shampoo in the shower and there was barely any conditioner. The textured paint on the walls was peeling down the whole was by the bathroom. The hot tub jets were not clean. When you filled up the tub and turned on the jets there was a large number of black flakes and debris that shot out of them. The peep hole in the door had no insert in it so people in the hallway could just look in your room. The lock on the door wouldn't stay closed. The 2 employee that I spoke with were not concerned with the shampoo being out and didnt even offer to give me a replacement one. The other one was on her personal phone when I asked for a sheet and didnt even get off the phone when grabbing me another sheet. I would not stay here again. You are better off going into Newport to any other hotel than to stay here."

"Very scenic view from the porch. Sunrise is gorgeous to see. The cabin is frozen in time and looks cozy and simplistic with a warm feeling. Also in a very nice location with stores and restaurants nearby with good food "

"Decent hotel. A little dated, but clean. Staff was very friendly. We reserved the jetted tub suite and the jets didn’t work in the tub. Breakfast was good."

"We booked this moderately priced hotel from our car as we were traveling through the area. The room rates were a little higher for this hotel than other hotels in that area along our route. We wanted a little nicer room and expected that with this hotel. After we arrived, at the front desk, I was told that I could not add our IHG Hotel rewards to the reservation since we had booked using Travelocity. The room was not the one that I booked, instead it was 2 queens instead of 1 king. On Travelocity, no queen rooms were available, so we booked a king room. Then when we arrived and entered the room it was a king, so that was a little confusing. The beds were very comfortable and made up for the confusion. The window shade was not working properly and had some small holes in it as well. The breakfast buffet was good for that hotel price range."

"Our stay was only overnight but it was a wonderful time spent there at the hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We will be staying there again. "

"This home was perfect for our getaway, allowing for us to bring our pups without being in the congested areas. The views were beautiful and the home was perfect. It had everything we needed for our stay. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to come to the area and if we return we will look to book this place again."
