Great reasonable priced place to stay with very friendly caring staff and on top of that you get breakfast and dinner with a drink !
Great location too!
I liked my time staying there! They provided food and drink! The rooms are well air conditioned and quiet! Just be prepared to see homeless people around.
I can afford to stay anywhere in Victoria but I only stay here. Awesome location, great staff, free breakfast and supper and drink. Amazing people from around the world to socialize with
This spot is a real gem, especially if you prioritize location and economy. It's a great place to meet interesting people, and very central, and I appreciated the full kitchen, lockers, and in-room fridges.
How to put this next part bluntly, but honestly: the area surrounding the hostel is safe, but you will see open intravenous drug use. People are struggling, and that fact is on display. If the windows are open, you may hear people screaming at all hours. This isn't the Hostel, it's just our current reality.
This is a very nice and friendly hostel type of venue. Cosy and relaxed atmosphere. Most guest are budget travelers, either young or old, but mostly young. Location is another plus. Not too far from the harbor, BC Museum and the legislature building.
Breakfast, dinner and a beverage included with stay. Staff was very friendly. Very little parking at the hostel but there is a parking garage very close by.
This hostel is truly friendly and has a nice vibe. My only concern was that the facility has no elevator. I suffer from knees problem and it was a challenge for me to go up the stairs to the 4th floor with all my luggage after a long day. Otherwise, it is a great choice and I will be coming back whenever I need a bed to stay in Victoria Downtown.
Staff where mostly great. Very nice experience. Need to keep in mind is a hostel so small rooms and basic. Things to improve on. Deal with mold in some of the bathrooms. Defrost blue berries before serving.
I was amazed for a Hostel how clean everything was from my room, the lobby and the kitchen area.
The breakfast was perfect to get me started on my day. The dinner was adequate to have something on my stomach. Never have I had something given for dinner so that was an added bonus. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Being able to store my backpack on my last day was a bonus. I would definitely stay here, again.
