This B & B was very good but for the price point, we expected better. The view was very good and the patio quaint, but beyond the patio, the greenery was quite unkept. We did enjoy the brambly trail down though for a great trail walk. Inside it was nice and clean and the breakfast foods that were left was very sufficient. It was other little things, synthetic towels that didn’t dry your body off, synthetic sheets that didn’t breathe and you felt too warm under them, no bedside tables and no vanity for toiletries and a very small shower. If we had paid 100$ less, I would consider giving it all 4-5 stars.
A lovely apartment overlooking Sooke Basin, clean and comfortable. The host is friendly and we enjoyed chatting with her. The apartment is on the upper floor ("eagles nest" and we saw an eagle), so be prepared to climb a long flight of stairs.
Although called a B&B, breakfast is not made for guests but ample food is provided, so you can fix your own breakfast. The host went out of her way to meet our dietary restrictions.
The B&B is very convenient to both Sooke and East Sooke, with numerous parks and hiking trails.
Overall, highly recommended!

If you want 5 star, this is not your place however we did enjoy our 4 nights. The view is beautiful and our room was spotlessly clean and spacious. The location is great if you are touring the area. A bit of traffic noise but still not bad. The owner is charming and accommodating but needs help with overall property maintenance and some updating. Breakfast was delicious and we ate outside which is always nice.
Location, privacy, space all pluses. Fridge was out for repair. Exit onto highway is sketchy, but we were given a good warning and careful instructions.
We had an amazing time with Criss and all the other guess at the B&B . Excellent breakfast! Love the king size bed. Could use a Tv 📺 in the hummingbird room and blind on door by bed . Our deck and view was amazing! Chris the owner is such a sweet lady . We felt like family there! She even gave me 🌹’s for a get well ❣️Would go back tomorrow ❤️
Chris, the innkeeper, was very friendly and hospitable. The breakfasts were perfect, and catered to our preferences. The site was close to many areas of interest, and full of natural beauty.
Wonderful property, amazing location (we stayed in the Hummingbird Room) and a memorable location overlooking a secluded bay, surrounded by pristine mountains. Could not have asked for more.
The OWNER, Christine is a very nice lady. she is very thoughtful. she works very hard to make rooms clean and cozy. plus The view is stunning. we felt hard to leave. we Would like to come back If we have a chance.
The property was little hard to get to as the main road is very busy and it's hard to see oncoming cars. Overall the property is very nice with a beautiful back porch looking out over the cove. Easy access to rooms and an amazing Host. She did an excellent job of making us welcome.
Beautiful view, clean and cozy suite. Our first "real" B&B experience. There was a double booking and we were moved into a nicer suite because we were a couple. Very knowledgeable about Sooke and what's nearby.
