Convenient, comfortable and welcoming.
Crossed over from Malta for a three-day break in January and found Downtown Hotel very convenient, comfortable and welcoming. Breakfast and internet were excellent, the room was spacious and clean and there was ample parking outside. We'll stay there again next time.

Someone from the staff that he opened the door on us, when contacting the manager, he told us that there was a report of the television not working and the technician came and knock on the door and imediatly opened the door, without giving some time for us to open or respond to the door.

Nice room wall print and linen but terribly uncomfortable beds. The bathroom door gets stuck when opening and closing Staff were kind but noisy in main corridors when cleaning rooms and it was like walls were paper thin. Breakfast was minimal and poor quality except for the croissants. Jam sachets were use by June 18!

Lovely hotel with street parking staff very friendly a good variety of hot n cold breskfast and very generous portions for dinner but unfortunately our roast chicken was slightly burnt n dry walkable to citadelle in 10mins

Slightly odd location,but polite friendly professional staff,well decorated room and en-suite.Comfortable and with ,albeit unused by me,tea/coffee free of charge in the room.chilled mini bar too! Excellent not and cold buffet breakfast.Superb value on as superb island!

Good location in Victoria easy walk to all amenities. Clean room, helpful staff, reasonable breakfast all for a reasonable price. Only complaint slightly unpleasant smell in the room.

Room very spacious and clean. Hotel in fantastic town centre location. Great value. Restaurant / cafe is extremely good value, has very good food and very pleasant friendly staff. The hotel lacks some atmosphere. The breakfast is fine, but could be more varied.

Hotel in a very good location however on arrival found a double bed when we booked 2 singles. Complained and the management agreed to give us two rooms at no extra cost. Furniture very dusty. Grouting in bathroom needs a good scrub. Breakfast good but average.

Amazing experience
The staff was so incredibly helpful, I got help to know where to go and everything I asked for was provided with a smile. I asked to extend my stay and they sorted it out right away, and they knew the local area very well to provide advice on driving, what to see and where to eat.

Good hotel
After getting the 301 bus from the ferry at Mgarr during a rare downpour, I battled to find the hotel as street signs do not seem to exist. However, this is not the hotel's fault. On my wet arrival, receptions staff were attentive. I was given a larger than average room 309, right at the end of the passage on the 3rd floor on the side away from the street. As such, the room was quiet and the citadel could be viewed on the hill to the left. Breakfast was good and I also had 2 dinners - pizza's which were good value. The restaurant menu in the room advertised a buffet dinner on Saturday nights and Sunday lunch times. However, these did not appear to exist on either day. The bar fridge came in handy to store water and other stuff purchased from the Arkadia convenience store on the main road, a short walk from the hotel. The bus terminal is located about 500m from the hotel, from which all other parts of Gozo could be reached.

My stay was very pleasant. Only negative point is the lift is very noisy and made a banging noise everytime it is used. My room was very close by. I had travelled all day and so was very tired but otherwise it could have disturbed my sleep. Would stay again but with request to be away from the lift !!

Pleasant place to stay for a few days
A pleasant place to stay, a decent three star hotel. Reception staff helpful and efficient. A/C had two settings, full or off' which was a bit of a nuisance. Odd that the water bottles were not replaced each day. We wanted to do the right thing and reuse the towels, but there was only hanging space for one.

Great family stay and fantastic helpful staff..my young girls enjoyed the free hour per day of the Fun Factory,which was well supervised. We also enjoyed our bowling experience located below the hotel. All in all a great fun family hotel .

Hotel is very easy to locate, in the heart of the capital. near shops, fast food restaurants, public transportation. hotel was very clean, maid came in everyday to clean the room. free wifi inside the room. breakfast was good, english breakfast, yogurts, fruit, pastries. loved the games room / sports bar, very spacious and comfortable. parking is no problem. the best thing was that Victoria being the center of Gozo, you arrive to any destination in no more than 15 minutes. Will be booking in the future for sure!

Good clean and well located accommodation at a realistic price. On-site restaurant and included breakfast were big advantages.
