It is a great, quiet location with a peaceful garden. Good restaurants and cafes are a few minutes walk away. The kitchen was well enough equipped that I could enjoy some meals in as well. Walkable, to everything downtown. Easy to navigate via vehicle for any attractions further away. There were a few things that would improve ones stay... a welcome basket of some sort would have been nice. Papertowels, scissors , and a measuring cup, for those who accually prepare food from time to time, such as myself. Also, working lights, especially since nighttime in the loft is a challenge to navigate to the bathroom. The hot water is limited if other guests have long showers or baths. I was caught without hot water and had to forgo my shower. The gas fireplace pilot light was not on, so had to call and get that resolved. A shame, as i was chilled after along day and travel. We brought our bikes to go cycling and so appreciated being able to park next to the house with bikes in hand. Kitchen, fireplace, beautiful garden terrace with lovely landscaping and trees all enhanced the experience. The location was spot on as we love walking to explore when we travel.
