Very nice hotel by the station in the centre of Montpellier, convenient for walking to the Comedie and old town areas. Our room was clean and well appointed. We appreciated the coffee maker! Only issues were 1) headroom, a low ceiling beam above the beds and in the bathroom of in the room itself and high level boxing in the corridor outside (and I am only 1m80!). 2) for reduced mobility guests, while there is a lift the corridor to our room had two short stairs and when we arrived at about 16:30 the corridors were completely cluttered by vacuum cleaners and linen changing (see photo)

We had to book this hotel at the last minute due to a VRBO mis communication for our 3 night stay. The hotel has a lovely pool and restaurant on the 7th floor. Dining in the restaurant was convinenet and delicious. We only had the continental breakfast on our last morning and it was good but completely over-priced.

The gentleman behind receptionist was a excellent historian of Montpellier old town,
He was able to guide us around on a map before we went to the old town.
A pleasure to talk to in the English language, a real asset to the best western hotel at lattes.
