"le loueur est un homme charmant qui a des choses très intéressantes à raconter sur son amours des chevaux. Le gite est d'une propreté impeccable et dans un endroit isolé mais à un quart d'heure des courses et une demi-heure de la sous préfecture où il y a tout ce qu'on veut y compris cinéma, théâtre, manifestations festives et culturelles etc.. le hic ce sera la canicule qui ne relève pas de la responsabilité du propriétaire! Proximité d’une route bruyante Lits non faits pour 12,00/pers Pas de climatisation dans la maison que des appareils rafraîchissant, mais même pas un par chambre. Le propriétaire le sait mais ne le précise pas dans son annonce. Lave-vaisselle trop petit pour 14 personnes et fonctionne mal. Il manque beaucoup de vaisselle. Chaises pliantes inconfortables Terrasse, mal éclairée Balles de baby-foot et ping-pong...

"The only thing we noticed is that there is no elevator to the upper floor so getting our luggage up there was some work. We were on bikes and they had a very secure place to store them which was great!!"

"A beautiful hotel situated in an old windmill, right next to the river, with amazing views. The rooms are lovely, clean and well equipped and the shower is great. All of the staff were extremely friendly, polite and helpful. Our evening meal was wonderful, as was breakfast, with a wide and varied range of excellent, fresh products. You can wander downstairs to sit by the river, passing through a room containing the workings of the old windmill, a bit like a museum, which is really interesting. There is a huge free car park, including spaces with electric charging points."

"The hotel was a great place to meet up with a friend for a couple of nights. Their restaurant offered a good selection for dinner and both of our meals were very tasty and reasonably priced. The breakfast was also economical and offered breads, yogurt, meats, cheeses, and fruit along with very good coffee. Our room was comfortable and clean with excellent bedding and comfortable beds. I also appreciated having a mini fridge and a water kettle in the room. The staff was very helpful in letting us know that hotel guests got free entry to the beaches and discounts on kayak or SUP rentals. We were right across from a little lake with nice beaches, a waterfront restaurant where we ate one night and a great ice cream shop. There is also a campground/cottage resort nearby where morning yoga was offered and a small open air market was held. It was a very good experience."

"Pour une rare fois, les photos donnent un portrait qui ne rend pas tout-fait justice à l'appartement qui est vraiment agréable, bien équipé et très bien situé dans une village médiéval. Le village est vraiment agréable à marcher. Il y a un peu de touristes mais on en ressent pas vraiment la présence. Méfiez-vous des lundis car tous les commerces sont fermés ! Issigeac est un bon pied à terre pour explorer la région. Nous avons voyagé par temps de canicule; on trouve de nombreux endroits de baignade en rivière sur les bords de la Dordogne qui serpente la région. Châteaux, grottes et vignobles à profusion..."
