This property was our favorite of our trip. Location was great, walking distance to the main city center in Verona and the place itself is beautiful! Lots of antique furniture and everything is beautifully maintained. Breakfast was very good and the staff was very friendly. We traveled by train and recommend taking a taxi to and from (Uber was very overpriced) the property.

Room was very spacious and the staff were very helpful, especially the lady who dealt with breakfast. We really liked the location, close to the river, within easy walking distance of the town centre. Although there can be traffic and pedestrian noise along a very small road next to the property (which bounces off a high wall opposite rooms on that side of the building) the double glazing is extremely good at isolating this. You only really notice it if you open a window. Bathroom was good, we really liked the shower. Bed was very comfortable too. Air conditioning works fine (and we did use it, because the weather was warm throughout our stay, which was a welcome bonus). Just a couple of issues (although ‘issue’ may be too strong a word). The room came with a TV but no comfortable seats to sit and watch it on, just a couple of wooden stools. The restaurant downstairs, where breakfast is served, is very atmospheric. There are signs outside suggesting that it’s open in the evening. It wasn’t. This might just be because of the time of year of course. October is obviously not peak season so it may not be worth the place employing a chef etc once the season has ended. I don’t know how busy the property was when we stayed. It was our first time in Verona, and I really hope it’s not our last. I have fallen completely in love with the city. Would I stay here again? Very definitely.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. They were very kind and checked in on our arrival time before we arrived. The breakfast is very good and a must have!! The hotel was very clean and pretty and the rooms are wonderful and spacious. Next time we’re in Verona, we will definitely stay here again!

It was a beautiful quiet spot and walkable to the shopping area and local interest spots. We enjoyed the little courtyard outside. Our room was like a little apartment and ample in size. The bathroom was sufficient, although the shower was small. Friendly staff. In general I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Good location, within 10 minutes walk in to the old town, safe and quiet with good food only around the corner, and a large supermarket - Conad, would recommend this hotel, but make sure all arrangements are made and understood at check in, as trying to find a member of staff during the day is impossible, and you need to call the emergency number for anything

Highly recommend

I had a wonderful stay while attending a conference. The staff were all professional, warm, friendly and attentive. The location was ideal for exploring the city as it was walking distance from many of the sights. The hotel was very clean and the room was very comfortable. The facilities were all very modern although the building and decor feel charmingly historic.

The Hotel is very, very beautiful. Sensational atmosphere and very nice furnitures and rooms. I loved my room and the breakfast. My only point i was wondering was the internet connection. The speed is limited with 2mbit which allows you to surf but for streaming or video call its not enough.

First of all, there is no laundry, despite what it says on Expedia, which is why we booked this hotel in the middle of our 2 week trip. Our room was below street level and right next to the road, with a window right at street level. The bathroom, while it looked clean had a smell of urine. And the living room light fixture was an outdoor flood light. It’s too bad, because it is a nice older hotel with antique furnishings and they do have an excellent breakfast. It is also close to piazza San Zeno which has several restaurants. We stayed in 5 hotels on our trip, all mid range in price, and I’d rank this one near or at the bottom.

We loved our stay in the hotel. The location is lovely and quiet but just a ten minute walk to the central area. The hotel is a beautiful elegant building and our room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The en-suite bathroom was lovely and also very clean. Breakfast was very good in the lovely downstairs breakfast room with excellent service from the staff. Reception and cleaning staff were all friendly and helpful. It’s a beautiful place in a very beautiful city. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Verona.
