Perfect Beach Location
This house has the perfect location if you want to be able to walk to the beach. South Beach Park is a four houses away down a short block. This park opens up to a great family beach with a great atmosphere for everyone. It also has long beautiful beaches on either side if you want to get away or head to the beach with your fishing pole and catch some Pampano Fish which are very tasty. North you can walk to the town of Vero Beach or south head to miles of sand with very few people. The house is wonderful too as it has a separate apartment with it's own kitchen and bath. Also the patio is a wonderful place to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. Lastly the owner is a very helpful and always ready if something is needed. We greatly enjoyed our stay and will certainly return!

This was are 4th time in this house the place is older but the location is outstanding.
Enjoyed it as usual. Always come to Vero to visit are son and his family. Location is wonderful right across the street from the beach. Just minutes from down town.

Quirky house, Amazing location!
While it would be very helpful to remove some of the extra/unnecessary furniture in this house, it is quirky and is great for families. Location is wonderful, management staff is highly organized and communicative.

Nothing fancy but a nice little beach bungalow. Great location, great price. Provided all of the beach necessities. Owner was great. The only draw back is that the air conditioner had a hard time keeping up with the heat, but it was managable.

We really enjoyed our stay. To our surprise there were beach chairs, umbrellas, body boards and lots of other beach stuff to use. Walk to the beach was easy. Volleyball courts were a plus as you walked onto the beach. House met all our needs as a family of 6. Would recommend.

Had a wonderful time at this spacious property. Much closer to the beach than I originally thought. More than enough towels for showers and the beach (we had a group of 8 so I was worried). Tons of beach gear for fun. Nothing bad to say and definitely would recommend.

Perfect Beach and Baseball Stay
Dolphin Cottage was the perfect spot for our Vero Beach stay! Close to everything and convenient to the Jackie Robinson facility for our son’s baseball games. The South Beach area was quaint and peaceful. The property had everything you could think of in a home away from home. We absolutely loved our stay!

Super close to the best beach in Florida
South beach is just one block away and a very short walk. The beach itself is one of the widest and very family-friendly. The house itself is well stocked with anything you might need and communication with the owners is very quick and easy. One of the great things about the house is it has two separate living areas with complete kitchens and bathrooms. This was very helpful since our daughter had to work remote. And the patio in the back had shade most of the day, which is also a great help during hot weather. In general, the area is very quiet and peaceful. We had a great stay!

the cottage was great for us. we did not realize that it included a separate space (converted garage) which included a bed, full bath, kitchen, and laundry. We love being within walking distance of South Beach.

Steps to the beach
I can't say enough good things about this property and the rental company. It is about 100 yards to the beach which is gorgeous! The house has 2 separate areas which worked out great for our adult kids. It has bicycles, beach chairs, umbrellas and more. And Angelas respoded quickly to any questions I had. We will be back!

Very convenient to the beach.
There are only two things I would fix/work on which would be the ovens and maybe a way to screen the outdoor faucet so you can strip down and get all the sand and seaweed off the body :) Otherwise, house was very comfortable, beds comfortable and plenty of room for family of five with two large dogs. Fenced in yard was great for the dogs!

This property is located very close walking distance to the beach. The property is comfortable and very well stocked. We were a party of five friends and we had plenty to keep us busy and really enjoyed the beautiful beach. The property is close to great shopping and restaurants too. The only problem was the main fridge didn’t close all the way.

Great Location
The Property is as described, and well appointed with items you would have at home. All you need to bring are groceries, though I did find a container in the fridge with leftover chicken wings when we arrived. ;) The very short walk to the beach and several restaurants was a bonus. A 10 minute bike ride through lovely neighborhoods gave us more access to shops and eateries. Our only concern was the air-conditioning, which would not drop below 81 degrees during the hottest part of the day. Both living spaces were comfortable and added to the experience. Not all in our group are early risers, so the space made that a non-issue. In all, we really enjoyed our stay, and would visit again!

Dated, but cute
Cons: This home is dated, built in the 1950's, with an addition added on. It has a smell to it, like someone smoked in it for many years, and it was covered up in paint. I'm allergic to cigarette smoke, so I left FL with a sinus infection. The AC struggled to keep up with the heat, but it was 97 degrees outside. The Pros: This house has lots of comfortable beds, nice beach towels, and everything in the kitchen you need to cook with. We were not having to search for an item, or run to the store to be able to open a can. We appreciated the gas grill in the fenced in back patio area actually had propane so we could use it. It has an outdoor shower for when you get back from the beach, and is SO close to the beach. The beach was is gorgeous and has staffed lifeguards. It is close, about a 3 minute drive, to a cute little strip of stores to shop at and local restaurants. We enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful place
I would highly recommend this property. The location was amazing being so close to the beach. Vero was a really nice town as well. It felt like it wasn't a tourist city. The house was set up nice. Even had items we could use at the beach. We usually stay in hotels. After staying here, it felt more like home. You could really relax at this place.

Great location but needs some love
We really enjoyed the quick access to the beach and beach toys in the storage area. Inside had a very old musty smell. We felt it could have been cleaner too, specifically the floors , rugs and bathrooms. It’s the little things that make a big difference. There wasn’t fresh soap for washing hands and one bathroom smelled of urine and had a dirty toilet brush behind it with no holder, just laying there. The outside of the house needs some fixing up too. It just seemed like it was very dated and needed some attention. Overall rating not bad.

Quiet neighborhood, close to beach
We have stayed in this neighborhood several times and love the location - close to beach and with several restaurants within walking distance. First time at Dolphin Cottage - perfect for 2 couples and our dog, space-wise. We love that it's an established, quiet neighborhood. The backyard is fenced-in with nice shaded patio area.

Great house next to great beach!
This was an excellent rental located very close to the beautiful South Beach. The house was nicely decorated, sparkling clean, well-appointed with everything we needed, and very comfortable (beds, sitting areas, etc.). We’ll definitely book again.

The property location is great! Just a few houses from public beach access. It is also in a quiet area with good streets for walks. The kitchen is stocked with a variety of cooking supplies. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of pillows, bath towels & beach towels. It was nice to have a wagon to pull the kids to the beach. The patio was great for dinner! The house itself is a bit dated & worn down. It could use a really deep clean, fresh coat of paint & bathroom upgrade. The tub was chipped in a few spots & caulk peeling / molded. This wouldn't normally be a big deal but with young kids bathing it was a bit offputting. Most of the lighting is lamps, which isn't a huge deal, it would have just been helpful to be able to flip a switch for overhead lighting with the fans when coming in at night. Overall, for the location, # of beds & cost, this is good value. We would consider renting again solely for the ease of beach access & $$$.

Very rustic & dated.
The are no signs of pride of ownership. Kitchen needs to be upgraded especially the stove . The tub needs to be replaced are well. The space & location are the best features. Original storm window covers greatly limit seeing outside. Kind of feeling like being in a cave. A friend of mine rented a beautiful 3 bedroom with a screened porch & small pool & golf cart at 911 Sandpiper for $1,000 less than my rented unit !

Very nice older house Kitchen well equipped, great cookware and knives! The “extra space “ with big tv was really nice. Linens and towels plentiful and nice quality. Only complaint, The sectional in the main sitting area was not comfortable….and the good beach chairs were broken and not usable ☹️

Wonderful accommodations! Very clean and decorated so lovely. Stayed here for Christmas holiday as mom not able to travel this year. Sister, husband and I stayed here, rest of family came over for meals and to hang out. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and visit. (And mom was able to nap in twin bedroom). Made Christmas breakfast and dinner, kitchen had all the dishes, pots and pans we needed. Outside patio was perfect for dinner. Close access to beach was great to go for a walk. Also, nice neighborhood to take our dog for a walk. Highly recommend!

Wonderful bungalow near a great beach
My parents and I wanted a winter getaway. Vero Beach was always a favorite beach town. Not crowded or over touristy. The house we rented was exactly as described. We walked to a couple of nearby places. When we drove someplace it was always under 10 minutes. The beach is very close. They had chairs, wagon, beach toys. They even have a place outside to rinse and hang wet towels. This is a perfect family rental.

We loved the location. Tarp outside above table was to low and very annoying . Every time I blow dried my hair the bathroom the breaker tripped (everyday).Outside furniture had to put towels on it or we were covered in lent . So didn’t get to enjoy outside.
