"This is a superb base to visit the area around Visan and Orange. We had 4 wonderful days in Hotel du Midi. Parking is not an issue and free on the street outside. We had breakfast twice served by Sarah who is one of the most warm, welcoming and accommodating hotel managers I have ever met. She went out of the way to help us the whole time we were there - from recommending vineyards, places to visit and even helping us book restaurants. Her and her partner are what sets this hotel apart from others. Despite our language barrier they made sure we were set for the day ahead. The room was comfortable and more than I would have expected from a 2 star rated hotel - the reviews attracted me to this hotel and they weren't wrong. The village is so wonderful too - strolling the streets when the sun was setting and sitting on the hill near by the tower was very special. Book this hotel you will not be disappointed!"

"The cleaners had left the door open during a rain storm so the living room had a huge puddle and the curtains had soaked up the water and it smelled awful. Also we had asked for a baby cot in advance and reconfirmed the day before but there was no cot meaning there was nowhere for our child to sleep - would not stay here again "

"We loved the Provence region and particularly being out of the busy towns during the summer high tourist season. Definitely need a car there. We flew into Avignon and drove the car to the hotel, as well as drove around during our stay. The hotel was amazing, almost like having an apartment with a separate room for the kids. It was so peaceful and tucked away. Kids loved the 'pool', the small heated one, which is referred to as the hot tub. There is a much larger pool, but much too cold for our Florida kids :) We ate dinner at the restaurant 1 night and it was very good. You are supposed to make reservations ahead of time, which we didn't realize. They fit us in as it was our arrival night. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. The main village of Sault is only 10 to 15 minute drive away, and you pass through it to get to the hotel. And, big plus, there is a grocery market about a 5 minute drive away. We had a full kitchen and living area, so we cooked dinner a couple nights and stayed in after touring the area during the day. In terms of other miscellaneous info, there was a small playground with swings and a slide. The main office had a lot of brochures and info about the area. There is a detached room/building for self laundry services. Overall, we all loved this location!"

"A very modern property with a private courtyard and swimming pool. An ideal place to relax and enjoy tranquility and the great Provençal climate. Also, the village is quite isolated but very well situated to visit the domains and villages associated with wonderful wine making of this region. "

"It is a beautiful house with fantastic views, it just needs a bit of love and attention. The pool was sadly unusable for most of our stay due to the debris falling from over hanging trees and shrubs (mistral winds). I would definitely recommend it for adults but I would say it’s unsuitable for families with young children given the loose paving slabs around the pool and the open staircase above the spiral staircase going up to the mezzanine. "
